    To me very unbelievable.. hardly any grants in the last month. but surprisingly they showing in days .. (61 to 82 days), I am sure a govt dept can't publish any wrong info publicly. Whats the secret behind their calculation, any idea any body???

    No, Checking and confirmation of information is one thing and Request For Information RFI is another thing. I hope u got the difference.

    @Swoop, This time the dept requested further documents related to security clearance and abt my lawyer, he talked little more than 2 wks before this request. wish you to receive grant soon.

    @Swoop Silence broken, received the record 4th S56 docu request at afternoon today. Very interestingly Probably I could find the cause of the delay. From the email received today I find, she is the 4th CO for my case. As a result, each time a CO took over my case and forwarded a S56 documents requests. So, its the 4th S56 request. What a (un) lucky guy I am!!! Any one lucky like me???

    @ Swoop, Thanks mate, you reminded me that I applied and now with you to celebrate 10-Month celebration. By the by, that day my lawyer informed me that he contacted about delay and the dept confirmed my case is under process. Hope the grant meets us all soon.

    But I been informed (by my relative) that Immi office is on!

    Don’t get upset mate, I am with you also waiting to celebrate the 1st Anniversary soon. Here, if patience doesn’t work then forgetfulness strategy (forget that you applied to Immi Dept) may work.

    Very unexpectedly they asked for the new police clearance (for a country where I stayed for more than 12 months but) which I submitted earlier with my VISA application. However, responded but again its almost a month, no voice from them. ****Any body having any idea on why this document is Re-requested with the 3rd S56 request. Isn't that, they should have asked me with their 1st S-56 document request if their any problem?? if not with the 2nd S-56 document request?

    Mate, after waiting 3 months 2 wks, I was sent with another S56 request, so you understand the pain....

    I think the status supposed to be FURTHER ASSESSMENT. Hope it will show soon for you.
