  1. So when leaving Australia show Australian one to immigration. When you arrive in UK shown UK one. When trips over leaving UK show UK passport and plane arrives in Australia show Australia one? You can operate both passports on one travel? Or am I misguided?
  2. Thank you for that insight.
  3. Once citizenship has been finalised what does your vevo online say?
  4. Thank you, so I can do as I have mentioned above
  5. As a dual citizen what appears on one's home country passport in terms of vevo when they scan at airport? Also how does one leave and enter Australia? Am I wrong if I leave Australia on Australian passport, upon arrival at home country can I present my home country passport. Then exit with home country passport and enter Australia on Australian passport? New to the dual citizenship life so any insight would be appreciate in terms of travelling from Australia direct to home country. Thank you.
  6. I'm not sure. Have you tried calling them up to say you want to withdraw your application but you don't have your trn etc?
  7. Once I paid the fees and submitted, I think the next day I checked and it was on received.

  9. Do you mean does he need to update his application that your a PR now? I would assume it's already in their system as their the ones who granted it. So no need to. But don't quote me on that maybe someone else has gone through this who might know better. ☺
  10. Saw a post on another forum a family that applied in January 2019, will be having their Ceremony in July 2019. Less than 7 months is total from application to Ceremony. So looks like things are moving somehwere. Btw they applied form South Australia.
  11. From my experience just all the originals of the documents I submitted on lodgement of application. Test itself for myself took less than 2 minutes. Interview/scanning/sighting of my original documents and taking of picture roughly another 15 minutes. So for my center my interview and test and wait in building was about 20-30 minutes in total. Hope that helps with your questions
  12. It worked so efficiently and quick back than. Not sure what happened along the way . Well influx of applications, but still
  13. So true I understand. I need citizenship also for job prospects that require citizenship. Just taking Solace in the fact that I'm not alone in this journey and pre much checking everyday and then having a nice cup of tea to let out the frustration . Fingers crossed for you though, it'll be worth it when it happens.
  14. Unfortunately from all the posts I have read so far we just have to wait. Calling them up always gives same answer your application is within the processing time, just wait. Etc etc... . I hope yours, your bother and dads catch up with your mums and you all attend the ceremony togather. Hopefully won't be long now, since one of ya'll is already there
  15. Thank you. Yes that's priority number one a letter from employer. I am probably over thinking all this as I have never done one and don't want to go astray.. Thank you for the advice. Cheers.
  16. Thank you. Quick question so me providing my bank statements etc as extra funds doesn't matter? Tenancy lease etc should I include or not? In my invitation letter. Sorry never written a invitation letter before so very unsure. His coming to stay with us and this is his first ever visit to Australia. Coming for our daughters second birthday/sight see and then he has to go back home for work. Also my home countries currency is not as strong as the dollar and I'm afraid it might look weak when his bank statement figures are converted hence wanting to supply mine
  17. Good day everyone, So my partner and I are applying for a tourist visa for him to visit myself and our children in Australia. He works in home country and has parents and younger siblings that depend on him back home. As added measure I am providing my bank statements in invitation letter to provide for his stay. I'm just nervous about how much honesty should I write in the invitation letter. As we are seeking a multiple entry visa, as I am about to embark on a new career and as a migrant here with no family at all. I would need him to travel when needed to support myself and kids in a physical sense. He has to return home cause he has work and his family and can only visit us periodically. I'm just afraid if I write to much they might assume he won't return home and not grant visa. I am also planning after I am established in my new career to apply for a partner visa for him when his offshore. But by giving too much information like that jeprodice his application for tourist visa? OUR first application for tourist visa so I'm very nervous and don't want to screw this up. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you.
  18. Thanks I'll have a read of that.
  19. Hi, So I only have one sibling and I am a PR soon to be Citizen. I was wondering if there is any visa I can sponsor my sibling to migrate to Australia. When he was here last he obtained an Australian qualification and is currently working in home country. He is also below 30 years old. Any advice to links about any visa would be good. Thank you.
  20. Probably average processing time. Not sure I just read it and hope mine falls somewhere good

  22. A child born in Australia with one parent PR and or a citizen acquires citizenahip. Yes. If you're on any other visa. No.
