Looking at stats from 2015 applicants (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qdUJtvi43-4Ma76iDQWtT3Dv2KK4HxA1lvQzeAB2MOE/edit#gid=0), it took about 1.5 months from interview to acceptance (from a few weeks to 4 months).

There are at least 2 conditions for 143 visa, 8502 and 8515. I will need someone who is very keen on English to explain the above statement.

It is a very interesting issue. I don't know whether this is applicable. I just search from internet https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/already-have-a-visa/check-visa-details-and-conditions/see-your-visa-conditions?product=143# and it says "You must not enter Australia before the person specified in the visa has entered Australia. This is usually the main visa holder or other relevant person such as your sponsor in the case of a Partner visa."

I believe that If the documents are sent by email, you do not need to get them certified.

We only provided scanned passports in color. It worked when we applied for our tourist visa and hope will do this time too.

@Biggsy Thank you very much for your info. In the letter we received from CO re: Tell us if things change.. This can also be done online https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/change-in-situation/passport-details When we completed it, we received email reply in a few seconds ..... Thank you for submitting your change of address and/or passport details. Your details have been updated. Changes to passport details may take up to 24 to 48 hours to show in VEVO. This will not affect your travel. You can check your visa details in VEVO: www.homeaffairs.gov.au/VEVO ... But we did it through another visa (tourist) not 143. I don't know if I have to send the form via email again.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me how to update our passport details (143 visa). Our previous passports were expiring in less than 4 months when CO contacted us for more information. We decided to have new ones and just got them today. Can we update through immi account, which we just did. The only concern is that we can only update through our current tourist visa and not 143 visa because 143 is not shown in immi account.
