  1. Hi Nati89, I'm sorry that you feel that way... whatever you said is 100% true and no one is denying that...it's just that the facts you stated is applicable only to new application. One more thing I did poke fun at your MA but I never said your application is bogus... infact I sincerely wish you the best of luck...I think everyone here is genuinely trying to get their 187 even if that means changing their original profession just to fit in.
  2. Sorry about the confusion...we are not having a go at Nati89. Just feel sad that his/her migration agent would try to scare them like that... I think no matter what... your agent/lawyer should always be positive as long as your application is not bogus....
  3. I'm talking about Nati89's migration agent who can't think out of the box and is scaring Nati89...
  4. This has nothing to do with applicants who have lodged their files already. This only applies to new application after November this year. Nati89 your MA is full off shit... I'm sorry no offence to you but he/she is just trying to scare you - maybe because they feel they haven't done a good job with your file and in case you get rejected this can be an excuse for them.
  5. I'm sure most people on this forum have already read this or atleast heard of this on the news...if you haven't and your just relying on your migration agent then you may end up like Nati89 who is being misled by her MA who probably can't understand English and is just used to working a certain format and can't think out of the box.
  6. Carmen...I'm guessing you hate your workplace...so do I.
  7. Bryant, you don't need to worry...under certain circumstances like the company shutting down or you being terminated by your employer does not affect your visa. You can work for another organisation as long as you stay in the nominated regional state (in your case QLD) however if you can't find employment in that state and find employment in any other state you will need to write to the DoHA and explain why you need to leave QLD otherwise you don't need to inform immigration at all.
  8. Yup I totally agree...is the same as telling someone don't be afraid when I push U off a building because there is a huge trampoline below. No matter how much DoHA says don't make life changing decisions it still puts our life on hold.
  9. Congratulations Ricky... Could you please share your detailed timeline and tell us about your occupation if it was DE or transition from 457? Thanks
  10. Addi congratulations!!! Can U let us know how did your restaurant/company prove that there is a genuine need for a cook from offshore...thanks
  11. Your a lucky sod...Ur nomination got approved before you applied
  12. ACT is the fastest in processing cases for Child care and Chefs... I guess all these politicians need to put their kids in daycare and enjoy a good meal at a fancy restaurant with taxpayers money
  13. Some cooks/ chefs from WA have got it in 13 months...I thought NSW and SA are waiting the longest in this occupation.
  14. Hi ring3018 Could you share your timesheet? Is it public or do U need to email it? Would like to have a look at it. Thanks
  15. I totally agree with you it's a bit strange, but the fact that even the nominations are something that is not done automatically it's decided by people. One guy must of got a horrible person deciding that his nomination was refused.
  16. I know it's worrying but one guy from this forum has had his decision finalized on the immi account but no decision was given to him so he was in a limbo not knowing if his visa is accepted or refused. Other reading this correct me if I'm wrong. The other thing is that since you have been asked to do ur medicals, I think U have 28 days to atleast book ur medicals - so it's not much of a choice. Hope you get some good news soon.
  17. Hi Xoxo...I'm pretty sure it's different CO's so ur friends nomination got rejected has nothing to do with U...may be he was unlucky to get a tough CO. Which state have U applied from?
  18. Gazza this must be so frustrating...it seem like they are just picking random files... first I thought it was a few states that were getting processed quicker...but after reading ur post it's clear that random files are being chosen
  19. Rajat I asked this same question to the immigration. They replied back saying the burden of proof lies on the applicant, so the sooner you supply all the documents the CO has asked for the sooner they can make a decision. So then I asked what about after all the documents are submitted then how long does it take? They said well that depends on how soon the case officer can verify those documents. So basically they told me "we don't know anything and will not put the blame on our CO's....it can take as long as they want." in an indirect way.
  20. It's hard when your living away from your spouse for that long... especially hanging on the balance scale of their decision...what's your occupation and which state are U waiting?
  21. Calm down !!! I never made any claim that this is a "Rule"....all I said it's a general observations of applicants on this forum... obviously the entire population of applicants aren't on this website...so different people will have different timelines.... nothing to get hyper about
  22. Hopefully Tipu, you get your good news soon. This is just my observation from this forum, it's not a data analysis from any government website. The other point is that all the child care workers who got their visa's so quick all were from ACT only 1 from VIC.
  23. Cooks/ Chefs and Marketing occupation are waiting the longest time for their 187 Although cooks/chefs from QLD are getting it within 13-17 months Child care workers are getting it quick too 12-14 months.
  24. Good for u bro...hopefully there are more people like u who stand up for themselves.
