    Hi everyone, just a quick question regarding my holiday visa. I can stay for up to 3 months at a time and have multiple visits. I'm waiting on my 309/100 but wondering if I need to leave for 24 hours or just straight out/in to activate another 3 months? I'm not sure what to do any advice would be fantastic.

    My sister has got some skin so soft and is going to post me it over, I will give a wee update when I try it as I have heard great things about it I'm spraying my bedroom every night keeping doors closed and lights out. I was very nieve about everything it's a massive change from UK.

    @Butterflies1988 exact same day, I'm hoping it's enough. It's horrible waiting with no word. I rang last week to check dates as I am on a tourist visa and gave to leave come back and they checked my 309 at the time saying I uploaded very quickly and everything in order. I have been at further assessment from may really praying we hear good news. Fingers crossed for you

    I had a RFI 4 months ago and uploaded the information within 2 days, not a single word from then. Anyone else on the same time line as me? Hoping this week is the week it's been so slow.

    Thanks again, my sister is coming in a few weeks from the UK so I will get her to bring Avon skin so soft. I'm hoping I can overcome this and I will be able to enjoy sitting out at night

    Thanks for the help, it's just so frustrating. I do follow the advice but even tonight I put spray on and was sitting in my living room and still got a bite. My husband is cutting back trees and clearing the gardens to try and get rid of them. App it's not even high season yet and I'm dreading whats ahead. Fingers crossed I can get on-top of the blighters.

    Hi I'm looking for some advice on building up a resistance to mosquitos. I have been living in Australia for 9 weeks and it does not seem to matter how careful I am I still get bitten. The bites are really bad resulting in having to use stroid cream. It's so sore and itchy I'm really getting down about it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    So glad to see movement. I arrived in Brisbane on the 16th July on a one way ticket, I made sure I had enough money to show I could support myself and leave on-time when my visitor visa requires or when I get my 309. I had no questions from the airline or customs. As long as you cover yourself with the relevant visa I can't see why you would be stopped.

    Its such a hard wait, I'm in Brisbane at the min it's a gamble we took. Going on 8 months now and a request for further information was in May. Just hope I don't get another one and it goes straight through. Maybe we will get a flurry soon before we all go crazy!

    @Belfastchild we used 7 seas and they were fantastic! We could track all the way and we got straight through customs no bother. Door to door service and everything intact sent from NI. Good luck with the move!

    Hi @KFR, I arrived 5 weeks ago with a one way ticket. I was nervous coming through customs but I didn't get stopped. I made sure I had enough money cash with me and in my account to prove if needed or when my visa hopefully gets approved I can get a flight out. I brought a personal file with visa details too so that I could show if stopped.

    I hear you ladies, good for you @SmileyD it's hard waiting but a focus is good. @AK2910 I have been in Australia coming on 5 weeks. We are so glad we made the move even though it's stressful waiting but I'm keeping busy painting our house and helping out where I can with family. Fingers crossed this is the week xx

    I'm so sorry reading that 2018 applications are still waiting. I'm a few weeks short of you and it's absolutely torcher. The waiting and the wondering is soul destroying. I do still stink every Monday, here we go this is the week but again radio silence and tumble weeds. Praying for you's this week and it starts to move for us all. Heart knocked out of me but still here pushing on x

    We got a RFI for the sp40 even though we completed it on paper we had to redo online so to avoid a wait I would do it as soon as you can.

    Mine has been at further assessment stage from i upload my RFI in May and I have not heard a thing.

    This wait is awful, I feel for you's both. The fact we can't contact anyone makes it more frustrating. I'm just behind you's so fingers crossed. I have actually lost hope as every week I'm thinking this is it only for a big fat nothing. Trying to stay positive but it's getting very hard.

    I'm getting so frustrated, got my RFI just over 2 months ago and absolutely nothing from then. I can't contact anyone about it and I'm actually waking through the night second guessing everything I sent. I'm so happy grants are coming through as there is movement which is amazing but it's just making me extremely nervous that I have done it completely wrong. So much hard work put in for them to request information that I already had scanned onto my account. It's soul destroying.
