I have been in Australia from July 2019 first on a visitor visa then from Jan 2020 on a 309/100 so would July count as 2 years or Jan? 

Thank you so much for the reply, I got both my 309/100 visas in Jan 2020 so I thought as I got the 100 straight away after 2 years I could apply. 

I got my 309/100 visa Jan 2020 and I think I have to wait two years before I apply for a citizenship. I'm not sure if I read you can apply after 18 months then I seen it was 4 years. 

I'm just wondering if anyone can give me advice on what happens next, do we get contacted by immi or is there another process I will need to do?

Hi everyone, I hoping for some advice regarding my sister. Is there any visa or way if sponsorship that I can do to allow my sister to emigrate? She's 42 no children. She lives with my father in ireland. I'm just trying to think ahead and make plans for the future and I know it isn't as easy as deciding to move especially at her age. Thank you. 

@GRS can you contact them direct with your reference number? I rang a lot to check how I was progressing. I see you have an agent too. Hoping so much you get good news soon!

Hi @Pneill I used pink for logged then orange when the RFI was requested then green for Grant.

I changed the colour of the name too so white when logged when RFI came then name changes to orange then when grant comes name goes to green - means you can see at a glance who is where and I numbered the weeks so you can also see the weeks.  the dates are by week not exact day so when you add a person it will be for the week. I hope that makes scene? If you need any help just give us a shout im sure @CEP will help you too as she set it up at first

Well guys today was the day I received my email to leave Australia so that they can process my grant. I almost don't believe it but am so utterly relieved. 50 weeks of one of the most stressful times of my life. I think I need to let it sink in as I think I'm a little shell shocked lol 

I was down to the wire, heading back to the UK on holiday on the 14th then back to kick start my new life properly this time.

Thank you so much for all the help and advice from everyone it really helped out in the dark times. 

Im hoping tonight or tomorrow night we get movement - usually the emails come through Wednesday or Thursday and the Christmas break should be over now.  Come on UK office lets get going

I have just booked flights back to the UK, my visa expires on the 15 January so it was a case of taking ownership or sitting right to the wire making myself sick waiting and wondering.  I am gutted to be going home so soon but that's the gamble we took.  I just cant see why the approvals are taking so long for some of us, its a really frustrating process and its a faceless service unless you have an agent which we didn't think we would need with a straight forward application.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas  UK offices should now be open after the holiday break. Clutching at straws now in the hope we get some approvals.  If not I'm going back to Northern Ireland just before the 15th Jan as my visitor visa is up. I applied for a bridging visa in the hope I don't have to leave but I have resigned myself to the probability that I will. Hoping we get movement this wait it unbelievably hard. 

Sorry I am in Australia waiting on a decision for a spouse visa. My visitor visa ends in a few weeks and I would like to stay if possible under an extended visa but I'm not sure if I can request to do this. 

Hi, just looking advice on my visa situation. I have applied for a 309/100 almost a year ago. My visitor visa is due to run out in a few weeks. Can I apply for a new visitor visa or an extension while I await a decision on my spouse visa? 

Hey @GRS that's you added again - sorry im not sure what happened.  Sorry to hear you are still waiting - Have you contacted them to enquire or get advice? I'm sure you are out of your mind as I know i am.  Maybe this is our week, Wednesday/ Thursday are the big active days and you never know this could be it!!

Thank you so much everyone - third time lucky maybe! Just to finish a few little dates on the form 80 and im good to go. I would deff complete the form if you have not yet @SmileyD Im in Australia at the min.  We have been here from July waiting and I need to leave on the 15th November as my holiday visa will run out.  Sick with worry but pushing on to a hopeful grant and quick response.  Failing that i will be heading home or I will try for another grant although the luck im having at the min im very reluctant to try for it  deep breaths im trying not to have a nervous breakdown lol

@SmileyD I'm so frustrated, I filled out the paperwork for the error in name almost a year ago when I noticed. I have explained 3 times I was in America for one week. I don't know how much clearer I can be. Now to complete form 80 again. Honest I can't understand why they are not accepting the information I have provided. This is really upsetting I just don't believe I will ever get it
