Submitted my application in Jan 2020 from Melbourne. Didn't hear anything for a year. In Jan 2021 moved to Sydney. Received a test invite within a week. Sydney FTW.

It appears that most applications take a while to be processed. Could anybody advise if I could lodge my application a couple of months before I meet the 1 year PR requirement, given that I've been living in Australia for over 6 years?

My 186 visa was granted today. Feel free to add to the spreadsheet: Occupation: Developer Programmer State: VIC Country: HR Stream: 186 TRT Number of applicants: 1 Nomination and Visa applied: Feb 20 2018 Nomination approved: Dec 12 2018 (notified by MA) Visa granted: Jan 22 2019 The status on the IMMI website was showing up as Received until the visa was granted, when it changed to Finalized straight away.
