    Yeah I thought I only had a fine and then had to amend, my was in UK and 2002 so not clear in memory, ours is going through an agent and been back 3 x now on clarification, agent didn't ask me or give them the full info I.e. date - offence - court etc etc. Not heard anything since last info was uploaded by Agent over a month ago, so frustrating, it's been a year now since we initially applied

    We're though an agent so don't see or get any updates, he says they are so busy he can't even call them for updates as they don't give him any info

    Did you note previous convictions on your application,? They seem to drag their heels if there is anything out of the ordinary - I speak from experience

    Nothing, there was some confusion with the no live trace on my police check and the agent didn't ask us or send immi the full details, they missed the date and fine value out and so it got sent back, we resubmitted all details straight away and been waiting since.

    We have a migration agent and they have asked me to write a statement which I've done, not much I can do now but wait I suppose. Stupid thing is I'm an AU citizen and they can't stop me going it's my Wife that could suffer for an honest mistake on my part.

    Low level conviction would be a problem ? Or not telling them? It was a genuine mistake having thought there was no conviction, it was 18yr ago and clear since.

    Ok so I found out today that getting a fine back in 2002 for disorderly behaviour has shown up on my police check as "no live trace" which is the reason ours is delayed, frustrating... I answered no to any convictions because I genuinely didn't think I had a conviction but clearly I do, it was 18yr ago and I was young and obviously memories not great ! What I can say is if you get a "No live trace" and are unsure what it relates too the call ACRO and ask what it is and they'll tell you straight away, same goes when you complete your application form have you got any convictions spent or othetwise or if your not 110% your record is clear then for the small fee do the police check and find out BEFORE you complete your forms, they are now really hot on this be warned, I would have 100% done the check first even if i had to get another done due to expiry before it was required, had I known what I know now but always easier when you have the experience.

    My uk police check came back no live trace, I had been in a bit of bother (fighting in UK) when I was younger but never had any custodial only fine for disorderly behaviour (you can call ACRO for details after you've done your check) , so on the form when it said any convictions I said no because I wasn't convicted as I understand ?? Now it looks like I've lied or tried to hide it !! so its causing delays and may stop my wife's visa - stupid thing is I'm the Australian citizen and can go no matter what ?!

    We had RFI 28th Oct -> If they can flurry ours I would be quite chuffed

    Hi - we had agent submit ours 28th March didn't hear a whisper for 7 months, was asked for more information at end of October and to get Medical done along with Police Checks but it's all gone quiet since - info submitted mid Nov.

    Our Application was submitted by Agent 28/3/18 and we were told do not get Medical or Police Checks done until you get asked for them, October we got assigned a case officer and we got asked for these both at beginning of October and then by the time medical was booked and my AU Police Check came through it was mid Nov , still heard nothing and waiting !
