  1. I'm in the same situation, I called Immigration they said to just notify them once you're leaving Australia
  2. Hey guys, I applied for my citizenship on 04/05/2021 and I will need to travel overseas very soon. Does anyone know what happens if they approve my application while I'm overseas? I couldn't find this information.
  3. Exactly, but as I do have the nomination approved the occupation list will not apply when re-lodging the visa.
  4. Why it should be a problem? Did they change something regarding to STSOL applicants?
  5. Do you think that withdraw the application and apply once again is not the best option? What do you recommend? I sent two times documents to the Department showing more than three years of experience and they are not accepting it. I sent diplomas from 2008, 2009 and my Bachelor Degree in 2015. I sent my CV, ACS assessment and documents supporting my previous employers.
  6. Not sure if you read the complete thread, but in my case they are considering only ACS to determine my experience, at the time that I applied I had less than three years of experience.
  7. Exactly. The main problem is that they don't want to look into other documents, only ACS. So, I will withdraw the application and apply using the approved nomination as @sydneyishuk mentioned.
  8. My MA suggested this one year ago to proceed with the application even with less than 3 years of experience (considering the ACS assessment). I have more than 10 years of experience but the Department is relying only on ACS, so I don't have choice.
  9. I applied with 2 years 5 months. Before it was ok but now they are more restrictives.
  10. Exactly. But the Department is more restrictive now, I tried to submit prove that I have much more than three years of experience but they are arguing that at the moment that I applied accordingly with my ACS assessment I don't have these three years. We tried for 3 times show this to the Department without success. So I think the best thing to do is withdraw the application.
  11. Hey guys, I'm into a very tricky situation. I applied my visa on 14/02/2018 as Web Developer, when I lodged the visa my ICT skills assessment from ACS was showing 2 years 5 months of experience (it doesn't match with the Department requirements that is 3 years of experience, my agent neither me noticed this). I have more than 11 years of experience in total, but looks like the Department only consider the experience after my Bachelor Degree(without counting the experience after the lodge). I can see few options here: - Try to submit a new assessment once again to ACS with the same Bachelor Degree (applying today I will get more than 3 years of experience, but I'm not sure if the Department will accept it) - Try to submit a new assessment once again to ACS using my Technologist certificate from 2009 (not sure if they will accept it) - Withdraw the application with the same documents starting from month zero once again The main thing here is that I lodged the visa with less than 3 years of experience. Do you guys see any other option? What do you guys reckon should be the best option?
  12. Hey guys, my health examinations will expire on Feb 20th. Do you think I should ask my MA to contact immigration about this?
  13. Yes, he requested to immigration to extend the deadline due to Christmas and New Eve period. Hopefully they will understand and accept it.
  14. Hi guys, question: Immigration asked my agent on 10th Dec for extra police clearance, my agent asked these documents to me yesterday (20th Dec). Considering that immigration give 28 days as deadline to send the documents, considering the scenario that I can't give these documents in time for the 28 days, what can happen? They don't accept any documents after the deadline? There are any possibility/reason to make them accept it? My agent stop to work today and will return only 7th Jan. Any help/idea?
