  1. Amazing and congrats. To which part of Oz will you be moving? I applied the same week as you, I am hoping that I get the good news soon. Fingers crossed
  2. They are a bit strict in regards to times, which is a bit silly as it would be quite easily possible to work out the actual time of length of relationship. Although you have that 309 which allows you to do all the things you want, so that’s good. Just the future pain of applying for PR. Still, big congrats!
  3. Damn, sorry to hear that. I think you’ll get it by Jan on current form. I expect mine to be done by then, we’ll I live in hope.
  4. I’m 4th June, I preloaded everything in the hope that it would be faster. Turns out I could have taken my time. I keep adding stuff when I think it’s pertinent.
  5. I don’t think the visa is cancelled, you just get notification of when you have to activate the other visa.
  6. I wish! I am going for month to prep move. I have to be back at work in Jan, so I cannot stay in Oz until I do another 6 months due to contract. I just want to activate the visa in December, which means I don’t have to rush to get there and don’t have to worry about new police checks or medical stuff. Work will not give me anymore time off to fly out, I had to accept a month unpaid leave to get this month.
  7. Applied in early June and not heard a peep so far, which is a bit rubbish. I’d like to at least have some movement, even if it’s just asking questions, but nothing. I fly out in 3 weeks and hoped to have had the visa to activate it by then, got hopeful when I saw that a lot were being granted. Looks like I shall be going on a tourist visa for the month and have to fly back when I get 309/100 granted as it stands.
  8. No, it won’t cancel your 309/100. You’ll have to leave the country and then enter to activate the 309/100 if it’s granted while you’re in OZ.
  9. At least there is movement. Matter of days!! This will be me very soon I hope. What was it that hat they asked?
  10. Sounds like things are moving along. I’d assume that once you have the info they require you’ll get the visa quite quickly after. Do keep us informed. SB
  11. Big congrats! Makes me optimistic that I might get it before I go to OZ in December. I think it really does just depend on who you get looking at your application. Obviously some people work faster than others. SB
  12. Yup, I’m still on stage 1 and have been for 5 months now. I’m hoping that something will happen by December so I can activate my PR when I go to visit during that time, means I can also start applying for jobs during that month. Fingers crossed for all! Oh and keep postin and keep this top. SB.
  13. There are jokes in there? ? brexit is going to be a disaster, best to jump ship as early as one can. We are considering renting out our place for a while and selling in the future. We’re lucky that we have a flat to move into in Sydney already. Im not expecting any movement on the visa for several months minimum at the moment, so carrying on with the London commute and working.
  14. Hello Katie, thank you for the welcome, not sure I should now talk to you, as you are Brisbane bound, heard they are all weird up that way. Ha. I would love to have the visa before Christmas as I can activate it when I spend December in Oz (heading there in E-visa as it stands). I think that’s a bit of a long shot, I’m thinking it’ll be The 12 months at the moment.
  15. Hello all, I've been lurking for a while trying to get info on expected dates of grant. It’s been a slow process and I nearly had a fit when the timeframe doubled in Aug. Partner and daughter are both aus citizens, been together over 3 years and applied June 4 2018. Preloaded health and police checks, now it’s a case of waiting for that “received” to change, any form of movement would be nice. Anyway, hello to all!
