When did you originally apply. We received our rfi for medicals and police checks at the start of oct. All uploaded last week. Hoping for a fast pick up on the visa as been waiting 3 1/2 years after our appeal. Now embassy has everything I’m hoping for a fast response as flights booked for March next year for us and have to ship things in the new year.

Yes have seen a lot of 309/100 lodged from Uk. If you look on the partner visa Australia forum on Facebook there are a lot and they show there grant letters. They seem to be done very quick from Uk atm. Just wish I knew how long until they pick up my application after winning my appeal. The waiting is so hard especially after waiting 3 1/2 years already

The remit is very in detail and states we should be granted a 309 as we have strong evidence. It’s very in detail and they placed a lot of weight on the strength of our relationship etc. just wish didn’t take long as some being granted through the London office I have seen have been granted within 2 weeks from original lodgement. So hoping they are quiet. Fingers crossed

I applied for my 309/100 visa back in March 2018. Was refused due to technical error at embassy as no evidence received by the embassy 4 weeks after application. We applied for the appeal in June 2018 and finally won our case 2 weeks ago in sept 2021 Does anyone have any idea on timeframe from remit to grant. We originally applied through the London office so hoping will go back there for them to grant. Just want to know how long will take. Any help appreciated

Yes we are over 180 days over that time now. It has gone down since Xmas as was over 748. So time scale is coming down just hope we are soon as 3 years is a long time

We applied in March 2018 though a registered Mara agent paid our fees. Sent all appropriate documents. Our agent uploaded everything. The embassy were doing online updates at the time and they received our application but no documentation to support our application so without contacting us the just refused us we then either had to reapply again and pay the whole fee again or appeal it. As we feel we did nothing wrong our side we went with the appeal. we have been together 5 years this Christmas and have 2 children together. We just want to get over there to start our new life and have the family support we don’t have here. we just hope it gets looked at soon. Very hard time for us but we won’t be beaten.- 3,663 replies

Hopefully u can travel as my mother in law is here in the Uk with us atm as we had a baby 3 weeks ago and now she can’t get home. No flight to Australia at all atm and the 3 flights to get Aussies home is full. We unsure how long will be before she can fly home back to aus and then she will be in isolation in a hotel In Sydney for 2 weeks before she can get home- 3,663 replies

Was asking as im Currently in the appeals process as I was refused for my partner visa 4 weeks after application was submitted. Embassy didn’t receive over 60 documents my agent attached to the application so rather than contact me or agent they refused the application. Been 16 months now so fingers crossed will hear something in the new year. we went appeal route as felt been unfairly dealt with. Lots of evidence can be supplied fault with there system caused our refusal and also referring to me as a she and her throughout the rejection letter felt we had a good case through appeal. Been longest 16 months of waiting.- 3,663 replies

Congrats to all who have had there grants over the past few weeks. hopefully be some movement on my appeal. Coming up to 18months in January keep checking the appeal times and now gone up to 20 months so hopefully hear something soon as partner due baby in April so hopefully we can move by Oct next year as house is getting too small here with 2 children and don’t want to move again. wish things were a lot simpler but lucky for you guys none of you have had to appeal an error on the embassy’s fault and not of our own.- 3,663 replies

When we had the visa issues back in March last year when we were refused. Our agent uploaded over 60 documents at the start. Then 4 weeks later we were refused as apparently they received no documents. they showed as sent. Then next thing she logged on and refused and no documents received and no documents showing. Seems they have more problems with this system than they let on. Will be keeping some of these posts to show clearly we not the only people having problems- 3,663 replies

I wish. 18 month timeline on my appeal takes us to the 7th January 2020 so fingers crossed it comes though over the coming months so we can start planning our move. By the time we move will have been over 2 1/2 years. Hopefully the appeals tribunal pull there fingers out- 3,663 replies
