  1. Hey That's exciting! It's worked for us so far but I don't know what advice I can give. I applied on a 600 tourist visa to give me 12 months so that there is time for the offshore visa to come through. I think my agent just updated my address and number on Immi which would obviously then be Australian. As I have an agent I don't really know the specifics on how else to do it. Perhaps an email? Sorry not much help!
  2. Congratulations noodlejaffa! And good luck with the move and wedding! So I'm sad and keeping logs! 3 grants in our group in a week (2 applicants from April one from June). And 3 requests for info also for those that applied April and June. So those still waiting hang in there. Ours must be in someone's pile just waiting to be processed!!!
  3. British National.  Married Australian Citizen in UK in 2015.  Son born 2017.  Applied 309 visa 26 April 2018.  Medical and Police checks all completed by June 2018.  Waiting..... somewhat patiently....in Melbourne living with Husband's family.  Currently on a tourist 600 visa with a 12 month limit.

  4. I have submitted more because we've moved to Australia. So far just photos of us with the family. I'm thinking of doing a statement from family that they are supportive of us and a bank statement showing my husband still financially supports me. My agent says no need though so
  5. Hi I got an email asking me to go for further assessment and somewhere it said grade b. That happened within two weeks of submitting my health check so im sure that means you're fine. Edit - thinking back I think the medical report got screened by Bupa and they flagged need for more checks. Immi must use them to screen so it's already for when a case worker picks it up. Hope that helps
  6. I've been trawling forums all night driving myself crazy about when these visas may come in. Did anyone get grade b on their medical and have to go for extra health checks? I did and I submitted a full report which should be fine but it's made me worried my case will be judged complex or something and over looked. I have a mild auto immune condition fully managed by meds and my rheumatologist wrote a letter confirming this and that I'm not expected to have any relapse so I think I'm worrying about nothing again. It was almost easier when nothing was happening as it made me not think about it but now I know grants are occuring it's somehow made me more anxious!!
  7. UK female. Married Australian male 2015. Baby boy born 2017.

Applied 26 April 2018 309/100 visa. Police checks and full medical submitted June 2018.

Waiting in Australia on 600 tourist visa

  8. Thanks so much! Such wonderful news. I can imagine the excitement when you received the email! Have a safe trip and good luck for no 2!
  9. I believe they expire after 12 months but they can extend that time at their discretion. We have done them on basis of new timescales it should be within that period
  10. Try to be positive. I know it is so so hard I don't think it indicates an issue. Some have been asked for things where there is an issue such as sp form and police checks missing too so it all suggests they are just working through them. X
  11. Many many congratulations. That's such great news! Did you just get an email? And how long do you have to enter to validate visa? Where in Oz will you be going? You've given everyone hope.for Xmas presents so thank.you so much!!
  12. UK born.  Married to Australian in 2015.  One child born 2017.

309 applied for in London 26 April 2018.  Medicals and police checks uploaded July 2018.  Moved to Melbourne on 12 month tourist visa 1 September 2018.

Waiting a decision on spousal visa.  As yet heard nothing....

  13. We submitted a UK police check for us both and one for my husband but he left Australia 9 years ago so that may be why. It was really quick and not too expensive so maybe do it just in case? How are you all outing your key dates in your Signature line?
  14. How are people feeling generally... Do we get a sense there is starting to be movement or not really? I'm enjoying life in Oz and the precious extra time looking after my son but would like to have some sense of contro over my future
  15. I attached a stat dec setting out why I wanted 12 months and I was clear I would adhere to terms. I gave evidence of my financial means confirming I could afford the stay. And then the evidence they require such as copy of passport. I think that was it ....
  16. Amazing! I’m so happy your right! next stop we start getting decisions!! I’m off to Melbourne next week to wait over there. I’ve got a 12 month visa and now it seems I may get a decision within that time. Fingers crossed and all that!
  17. Hi. Sorry can I ask when you say “last requested files” do you mean a case worker asked for further info? So you already had a caseworker at that point? Or do you mean that you’d only justtkt around to submitting all your evidence 4 months ago sorry to question there’s quite a few of us anxiously waiting from applying in March and April and any info helps! many congrats!! What part are you moving to?
