Thanks @LindaH27 and @Marilyn. The data has been restored to previous state. I'll try my best to restore the data that has been added after this version. Part of the reason that I leave this publicly editable because I would prefer to have everyone contribute and I may not have time to monitor all the discussion to gather data. I'm not sure if there is any other better option, but Google sheet can restore data to previous date if anything like this happen again. If anyone don't want their name included, please feel free to remove it or let me know. I'll respect your privacy.

Is there any reason why you didn't email them the documents? In the request for document letter, they mention that email is preferred and faster. We didn't receive any acknowledgement receipt, and we had to follow up every month to know that our emails were lost and we had to resend them all documents. However, I saw some people here did get acknowledgement receipt saying that all documents have been received, so it depends on each case. Based on the tracking sheet, it could be between 1 to 3 months before the 2nd VAC is requested: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1qdUJtvi43-4Ma76iDQWtT3Dv2KK4HxA1lvQzeAB2MOE

If you have time, I think it's better to go to a branch.

I've found this calculator, but I haven't tried this myself: https://www.centrelink.gov.au/custsite_aoscalc/aoscalc/financialCalPage.jsf?prg_id=0a22b56c839d45ff88336c2727da64b8&wec-appid=aoscalc&page=1C0EADC1A5804952B374580CFFB9BDFD&wec-locale=en_US#stay

Hi @Alan Collett, can you confirm if the client's file number prefix is BCC? According to the letter I received: I think the tax invoice has more payment options.

We also had to submit some documents a few times. They claimed they didn't receive our previous emails.

This link has some examples: https://www.australiavisa.com/immigration-news/condition-8558-visitor-visas/ Looks like it's based on calendar month.

Honestly it's really hard to tell how long between 2nd vac and visa being granted. Based on the visa tracker sheet, it could be between 3 days to nearly a month. Anyway, I believe that all applicants have to be out of AU before this visa can be granted because they have to go through custom (or whatever) to activate their visas. Please don't quote me on this, but apparently the main visa applicant has to activate their visa first. I can't remember where I learned about this though.

Yes, mainly because AoS took 7-8 months and we had to resend all documents because PVC team said they didn't receive them 2 months later.

Correct, but there is a high fee for credit card payment. https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/Trav/Visa/Fees

Thanks @Catlady2014. Could you confirm if it's payable to "Department of Home Affairs" and not "The Department of Home Affairs"?

Thanks very much Alan. My agent is not so sure about the check and they insist on me paying by credit card, but I don't have such a high limit. I'll be sending an Australian bank cheque, and based on the payment instruction below, I think it's to the "Department of Home Affairs". I hope someone who has done it could clarify this. Payment by Bank Cheque Bank cheques should be made payable to the Department of Home Affairs and sent by registered post to the following address: Parent Visa Centre Contributory Parent Section Locked Bag 7 NORTHBRIDGE WA 6865 AUSTRALIA

Hi all, We've been requested to pay 2nd VAC. Those who have visa granted, could you please let us know whether you pay by bank cheque and have your visa within 10 days? and is the bank cheque directed to "Department of Home Affairs"? My agent said it could take up to 2 months for bank cheque.

Hi, I hope someone here could help us. We sent documents to PVC team1 about 2 months ago, and they just told us they didn't receive anything. The agent split documents into multiple emails, so attachment size shouldn't be an issue. Could you tell me if you have sent a large number of files before: how many files were there and total size in the email? If we already have an agent, can we still contact the department directly to provide documents without affecting current agreement? Thanks very much!
