  1. Thank you! Currently sat waiting to be seen, just had our chest X-rays fingers crossed we’ll all pass with flying colours x
  2. Nothing that’s documented in school reports as yet, we've got medicals tomorrow and I’ve read on the email from Nuffield that amongst other paperwork we’ve to take any school age child latest school report, although on the website it doesn’t even mention this Just need to know if it’s standard or if they even bother asking to see them if no medical concerns at school
  3. Has anyone been asked to provide their child’s latest school reports for the visa medicals? thanks
  4. The diagnosis if any will take months if not years to get, as yet we are in limbo, no support required at school or any intervention. He is simply on a waiting list for an appointment. I will be honest if the question is asked but I won’t volunteer the information unless it is on a form or asked specifically and even then it’s just a referral x
  5. We received out invite for the 189 visa on Monday, booked our medicals for a few weeks time, however today my 5yr old has been escalated to a higher tier within the camhs for a potential diagnosis of autistic spectrum. Do we need to declare this during the medicals as he wok the be formally diagnosed for many months yet, if so how will it impact in them ? Thanks
  6. Think we were too late for this round as invited have been sent and I had nothing, but on the bright side, there has been reports that in another forum group a member got an invite after submitting her eoi in November 1st at 70pts npr
  7. They have been inviting people with 70pts in July, August, September and October, each month they include the backlog from the previous months where the limit was 75pts. That will clear quicker than you think. I read in one webpage that there are approx 6.7 eoi with 70+ points submitted each day, that’s approx 200 per month. So theoretically they have scope to make up the shortfall by at least another 200-500 other applicants who have been waiting previously x
  8. As far as I’m aware they are inviting people with 70pts
  9. Does anyone know when the cut off date is each month to submit your EOI and be considered for an invite? ive just done mine for the 189 visa, surgical nurse with 70points, date showing in skill select as submitted shows 10.11.18 and I know the invitation rounds fall in the 11th, do I have a chance this month?
  10. I’m aware that the courts will take many things into consideration if it ever came to that. I find it hard to believe that any authority would favour a father who has never consistently financially supported his son, nor provided a home environment, encourages bad behaviour, over a mum and step dad who have always put a roof over his head, fully paid for all his needs without relying on benefits, 3 other siblings, family support, not to mentik his fathers recreational choices. It’s a very difficult situation for all involved but I firmly believe it’s in my sons best interests to make the move regardkess if maintenance I would pay for my son to return home at least once a year and also for his father to stay with us in aus during visits, Skype calls and texts and the option to return after education
  11. His father isn’t the most reliable parent, he struggles to pay the minimum maintenance each week and often goes months without, he wouldn’t have the means to support his son Independant of state benefits. When we visited as a family earlier this year my son was alkdor it and it’s my belief that it’s his father putting doh ta into his head, infact i have the evidence of this where he tell his son to behave badly and to disrespect us. My son will undoubtedly miss his dad but I would use any maintenance many paid to cover return flights as often as possible.
  12. I have 2 older children from a previous relationship and 2 younger children from my marriage, we are currently going through the prep work before submitting our EOI, the issue I have is that one of my older boys is saying now that he doesn’t want to move, he is almost 14 so likely to be nearly 15 when we make the move. His father has now said he will not sign any paperwork if our son says he doesn’t want to go. I have offered him the choice of coming for 2 years until the end of high school then returning to the uk to stay with his dad for college. He doesn’t see the big picture, I have my other children to consider too. If he decides he won’t come where do I stand with having him join us later when he decides he misses his family! can I make his dad sign the forms giving permission?
  13. Is anyone else having issues with creating an Anmac account for the skills assessment? I set up an account, fill in the online form then when I next try to log in it won’t recognise any I my details and there’s no record of it! help!!
  14. I filled in form online for Amnac Full skills assessment last weekend, all week I've been checking its status but it still says its in progress and to come back later to upload supporting Documents. Is this right? Ive not uploaded anything so far, just the basic initial form. please help! Do i need to start again? Thanks
  15. I am currently going through Amnac assessment for a Surgical Nurse with 7 years experience. I have the opportunity to apply for a different role which would change the Amnac code to that of Practice Nurse. How will this affect my EOI or Visa application? Will I lose points for lack of experience under the new code or is it added onto the previous jobs experience? Will I need a new Amnac skills assessment? Thank you
  16. I’ve scored the following: S-9. L-8.5. R-8 W-7.5 I need 7s for the Amnac assessment which is great and it’ll give me 10points but I was hoping for all 8s so I could get the 20points. Can I use these scores for Amnac whilst simultaneously asking for a remark to use the hopefully increased score for our EOI? How long is Amnac taking as I only have 6 weeks to lodge an appeal? thanks
  17. I’m giving us approx 16 months for the visa to be granted, just worried that if it’s longer than that he’ll be too old x
  18. Thank you I’ll see if I can do my thing to increase our score x
  19. Today we have upgraded our printer so we can now scan and have colour copies all WiFi, much easier and bought filing boxes and new stationary to get it all organised! I feel my OCD kicking in! I have enough points 65 I think and briefly spoke to a Migration agent when in Perth last week who we will use when it gets going properly if we need it x
  20. New here and already my second question! My eldest is 17, will be 18 by the time we move over, we are planning to move after he finishes A-levels but will turn 19 in the September. Will he be classed as a child or dependant adult in my application?
  21. Thank you for the advise, we are literally at the very beginning of our journey and it’s a minefield!
  22. Thank you, I’ve registered with amnac and saw I did in the form but that went against what I’d read, good to hear it from someone with experience so thank you x I’ll get one booked as soon as my new passport arrives x
