  1. The day has come. Our case was opened yesterday after 1107 days. We received an Invitation to provide information with the usual details requested. We have 2 weeks to respond. NSW Regional 187 DE (Refusal after 17 months) Restaurant manager

  3. They asked for one for the 457, and then again for the 187. Position Restaurant manager in NSW. Both agents requested it. Maybe ask for a clarification from your Agent on why you don’t need it. But if the Department or AAT are asking for it obviously they need it.
  4. Sure you need a skill assessment however there’s been cases refused with skill assessment and cases won without. Consult with your agent.
  5. Hey @paulhand, sorry to jump in here - would appreciate your opinion on what is an acceptable demonstration of ‘trying to hold the job’. Is it not being paid as much as other local businesses would pay you? Current ads with disclosed salary for example, or direct offers for the very same position - does this clarify (after you’ve discussed this with the employer and they have refused a pay rise)? Specifically for 187. Cheers
  6. Similar - June 2019 1006 days 187 NSW
  7. Congratulations what documents did you submit to AAT? and what was your reason for refusal? thanks
  8. Same as us. Do you know the position and reason for refusal? And did they have a hearing?
  9. Congratulations how many months did they wait at AAT?
  10. If you can prove you’ve suffered mental health issues it shows it’s already TOO LATE. You can’t call it or them compassionate if they’ve caused the issues to begin with by having never ending processing times.
  11. What about our mental health
  12. Same. Waited 17 months to be refused for 187. Waiting for over 32 months (981 days) at AAT. 49 months in limbo and counting (literally).
  13. The PR granted a few days ago (Paul) was 6-7 months after winning at AAT. Unsure if that’s on the higher or lower end of the waiting period but certainly you’d expect them to be faster especially once remitted.
  14. Same, appealed June 2019, onshore, no news.
  15. But you submitted your visa application after the nomination was granted?
  16. People with nominations granted in 2019 are still waiting for visa?
  17. Hi guys It is amazing to read so many have had their files opened and also many had their PR application approved. Congratulations! “Required 2 years of post visa approval employment.” Could those who have received their PR please advise whether it came with any work requirements attached, such as you have to remain with your current employer for another year or two? This refers to those who have already worked for at least 2 years with the same employer when their visa application was assessed (and granted). Thanks!
  18. I thought you’re saying they are currently processing the July 2019 files.
  19. Hi V What makes you think July 2019 refused files/appeals are in queue? Thanks
  20. No, must be from offshore. But you should have right to take the case to the Federal court as the last option onshore.
  21. What did they ask you specifically? The businesses/finances and superannuation are questions for the owner/Accountant, not the employee.
  22. Congratulations! I haven’t heard of 2 hearings before! What was the reason? What were they asking? Were you asked to attend as well? Or the discussion was with the owner? Thanks
  23. Congrats! could you please advise what documents were requested the first time (January) and the second time (March)? Also, what was the interview like? thanks
  24. What position? And what was the reason for refusal?
