Sorry Zoe I'm not ignoring you but no idea on the visas. I think there is a website called vevo or something. That may show active tourists visas??? Other than that I'm sure someone a lot more knowledgeable than me can help!

I'm sure you know but you don't have to fly back to the UK when it's granted. You just have to leave the country...... you could have a weekend in Bali and activate on your way back in. As long as you leave Australia .... sorry if I'm teaching you to suck eggs

Yeh dont worry you are not alone we are having a similar panic. Uploaded additional docs basically straight away then not a peep. My status moved on to Further assesment and now just waiting again.
I am also worrying should I have explained more than what they asked ... I just answered the question in the email. There was a pop up after I pressed the submit button ... now can't remember what it said, did we press the right thing.... back to not knowing.
Just have to stay positive and hope they come back to us soon ..... it's not a pointless post we are all just wanting good news is all ..... fingers crossed we hear soon

I just had a panic about comments on the "I confirm I have provided information as requested" button based in comments above. I have had a request for more information and account has progressed to "further assessment". I uploaded all additional information requested on the 15th October (2 days after the request). I noted that mhaffie had a 10 day turn around in a similar situation. My concern is that the "I confirm...... As requested" button is greyed out for me, but all documents are stated to be received. Thoughts?? 

At the bottom of the page where you and the sponsor can upload docs there is a button. I can't remember the exact wording but it is along the lines of I have uploaded the info requested

I'm starting to tie myself in knots about getting asked for more info at the start of last week then not hearing. How long do you think it is after hitting "I have provided all info requested" to being re-reviewed. Do you go to the bottom of the pile again do you think???

Also got an email from ACRO asking to release the police check for my other half but it had come back with no trace. But I guess cos I said he had a speeding fine and 3 points they expected that to be on there .... i didn't think they showed driving points etc??? Can anyone advise. I assume they have done the same with his OZ police check ..... I am just freaking myself out I think ... this is such a stressful process.

My hubby had a traffic offence and we didn't make it clear it was when he was in Australia. I think they just wanted to be sure they had a police cert from the country where it happened. Makes perfect sense now .... I'm just gutted we didn't notice it ourselves!!!!

I have just had a request for a statement clarifying something on my husbands side of the application - which we didn't make clear in the initial application and I am now kicking myself! oh isn't hindsight a wonderful thing! - and have finally moved off "Received" onto "Initial Assessment".

After we uploaded the information I then sat staring at the screen as if the case officer was going to be on the other side just waiting for our upload ...... I have now torn myself away from that and onto this forum to stop myself for serial stalking the immi site! All crossed looks like London is on the move ......

I am the same hubby hasnt been there over 10 years but we thought better to do one and be sure rather than risk them asking and going to the bottom of the pile again ..... sorry if i worried people if your agents said its ok it is probably me being over cautious ....

I agree Jon. We all have stuff that would be a lot easier if we had the golden email or just knowledge of when they would look at the application but this is the problem with something so opaque. We have to just stay as positive as we can and put in place what we can in the meantime.
Laf - you will defo need the Aus checks so maybe get those completed so you know you have a decision ready application.... i assume you have front loaded???

I received an email on Friday afternoon requesting more information. I applied with a full front loaded application on April 10th. Iam hoping that if they have this information provided to them by tomorrow that in the relatively near future the visa will be signed off. My wife and kids are already over there. The last month has been challenging enough as it is and I have a flight booked on the 25th. 

If you dont mind sharing what extra information did they want????? May save those of us who believe we have front loaded too.

Quick question ... is anyone updating their application with latest bills and bank statements ..... just wondering if i upload the last 5/6 months worth of statements in addition to those i uploaded when i applied.

Yeh we will list the house in the new year if no movement by the summer take it off the market and rent it out (obviously if the grant is through by then as we are hoping to go early summer 19) .... we will stay with family initially ... wish we had a flat! But worst case can rent for a while over there until we sell the uk house as will need that for the deposit.
Spent the last week doing skip trips and clear outs .... amazing how much stuff you gather.
We gave up the london commute about 6 years ago and moved to Bath.... traffic still naff but at least i can drive to work in my own car and not be under a smelly armpit on the tube. Hope you dont have that much longer ...... not done sydney subways in rush hour they surely cant be as bad!
