I’m so pleased for you! I’ve been watching this thread for a while and have been so inspired by your endless upbeat optimism throughout this whole process - even when people who applied later than you, had their grants come through sooner. I was in a bar in Kjngs Cross earlier and shouted ‘Yes!’ when I read your news. It’s well deserved. Enjoy your new adventure!

We have applied for 309/100 (from London) on 8th October 2018. For my husband and two young kids. Radio silence since then. Can I be added to your chartCEP? We haven’t upload my husbands police checks / family medical’s yet. Hoping we’ll be asked in time...
Thanks@mia.oh.my I did something similar!!!! I wish you loads of luck for your application cu upside down xox

3. Omg@CEP that made my morning I love it .... see these haters just don't know the power or joy Excel can bring ..... wait til they discover a pivot table it will BLOW THEIR MINDS!!!!!!
All crossed there are some more green grant boxes soon.
I was thinking about it tho I doubt we hear this week. A lot of the COs seem to be Spanish (huge generalisation on the names of COs on RFIs and that Madrid closed so prob were re-assigned) but if that is the case Spain celebrates Xmas on the 6th Jan .... so they may not be back to work til next week????
I dunno just trying to make up a reason we haven't heard of any grants since before Xmas!!!!!

4. My hubby thinks if they can buy time by asking a question they do ... that way they can stop the clock on our applications until we reply. Apparently it's something people in IT departments do when they have loads of tickets

I personally think they are now under so much scruinity that they wont assume anything they just ask the question to ensure every i is dotted and t is crossed so there is no comeback on them .... which you can understand.

I just hope Santa was good to them at Xmas and they are all back raring to go!!!! Gems1984 enjoy the sun it's murkey and cold here ... I am super jel

5. Oooh Heather ... very exciting who are you shipping with??? March will come around super quick.
We have the usual suspects coming to quote at the end of Jan .... gonna pop the house on the market in early Jan and plan to move in July .... We have decided to give the full 12 months to hope the visa is in then can start work straight away. Otherwise I'm on a 600 onshore waiting .... although do-able not ideal so we will see. Also gives me 6 months to clear out our cupboards and clothes etc that I'm not looking forward to!!!!

6. Katiebobbles when I put it into a pretty coloured chart it actually made me feel heaps better! You can see a very rough pattern in there!
Waiting is a lonely place but I’m hopeful that we will see some movement when everyone returns to work ready and raring to go, full of bounding enthusiasm to clear their desks!
Gosh I hope you are right.
Also feeling better cos my hubby and his family think it's hilarious I do everything in spreadsheets ..... at least I know I won't be alone in the spreadsheet clan when we get to Oz!!!! [emoji23]
