We used Anglo Pacific - 20 ft container to Melbourne from Liverpool £3975. also we have had to pay AUS$525 for a quarantine inspection on top of that when our shipment arrived (left Our house 9/11, arrived 9/1) sales guy nice but crew that turned up a bit slapdash. They Damaged our leather bedhead and are trying to get us to claim on our insurance. we didn’t have to dismantle any ikea furniture- they just wrapped it up to protect it.

It’s s calculated risk in my eyes. If there is nothing you are in doubt about in your evidence/lives then there should be no reason to decline a visa. It’s just a waiting game.- 3,663 replies

They didn’t give us a date to leave by and asked us to email them our travel arrangements when we had made them. It does state to allow 5 days away for grant. The issue is because we want our countdown to my husband working to start ASAP we are limited to whatever fares are available in the next week (school holiday time too!). it cost us £612 return to go this Saturday for 7 days - but we were lucky to get a cheap return fare (half the price of the flight out)- 3,663 replies

OMG, just got the golden email!! I thought I would be more relieved but it just feels surreal after all the waiting. Interestingly we got it from another case officer Zacharenia), so I wonder if our other case officer left or is off sick so that has been the hold up?! You guys have kept me sane, thank you!- 3,663 replies
