We received our grant on 12th September. So happy now just need to decide if we head out before Christmas or after!!!! We submitted our application 15/05/2017. All docs front loaded and medical completed way June.

Thanks. Do you know If I just need to contact details for new employer or if further evidence e/g. contracts etc are required?

Hi Guys We lodged our 189 application 15/05/2017, all documents provided. Medicals cleared on the system mid June. Both my partner (he is the main applicant) and I have been offered new jobs (short term contracting roles) which we are thinking about taking as we are still awaiting the Visa. Do we need to update employment details on the Immi account if we do? If so do we need to provide references from these companies or just new contact details? We don't want to cause any further delay to our application as we had originally been hoping to be in Australia by end of September and that's now not possible. Any advice would be appreciated. Had a look at the tracker this morning and it said ' Your waiting time is far greater than average, there is chance that you may be under external checks and/or expect an employment verification at any time'. Anyone got any ideas what external checks may be? Also I've just been offered a new job (short term contract) which I am thinking about taking as we are still awaiting the Visa. Do I need to update my employment details on the Immi account if I do?

Anyone any idea's why the significant increase? Looking at the tracker there seems to some movement, have seen grants for cases lodged in May/June even July this year?

Our application was submitted on 15/05/2017. Medicals, PCC checks and all relevant documents uploaded. The application is currently sitting as received, we have had no contact from a CO as yet . Is this normal/ On reading other threads I have noticed a lot of people having been assigned a CE...wondering if I should be doing something else?
