I understand - but does she ALSO need to get a skilled employment assessment (they appear to be 2 separate things)? Sorry, the whole thing is just confusing me! ?

Does my wife need to get her skilled employment assessed in order to claim the Skilled Employment points for visa purposes? Or can those points be claimed by providing employment contracts, references, payslips, etc?

Hi all I am a bit confused with the skills assessments. My wife will be the main applicant on our 189 application, so she will need a skills assessment. We want to claim the 5 partner points, so I also need a skills assessment. (We are both on the skills list). My confusion is surrounding the Skills Assessment vs Skilled Employment Assessment. What is the difference between the 2, and would either my wife or I need to get this? Thanks Jelly

Hi all I'm moving to Brisbane at the end of the year, and just wanted to get a bit of info re: the relief teaching situation there. I am a primary teacher. How much relief work can I expect to get (i.e. days per week)? I am looking for as much work as possible. Is it worth registering with as many relief teaching agencies as possible in order to get the most work? Should I also register with individual schools? What is the best agency to use? Hi all! Which Brissie suburbs do you reckon are the best for a young professional couple to rent in? We won't have a car, so proximity to the CBD and public transport is pretty important. We love the outdoors and jogging, so would be nice to be close to nice areas for jogging (maybe along the river?), possibly parks, maybe Streets Beach etc. Looking for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, furnished flat.
