I was under the same impression as you that police checks, health checks and form 80 tend to be requested by the case officer a bit further into the process - I'm nit quite at that point yet but when you log into your immi account, it tells you there is a fault with these on the system and to ignore it, perhaps that is the problem?! if so the maintenance is scheduled for the next few days. let us know if you manage to sort it, and Ill let you know if I have the same problem, when I get to that point later [emoji3]

Ahh no worries, that shouldn't put you to the back of the queue, SA process as the terms were on the day you submitted your application ... and from what I've read I'm reasonably sure that they process them in the order they were submitted. fingers crossed we all hear back in the next week or so :)

Hi Jetblast, I am thinking along the same lines as you ... Just wondering what Bank accounts I can open in Oz but from the UK that allow withdrawals as well as deposits The ones I've looked at allow you to deposit money but then need you to go to Oz with ID to be able to withdraw funds and Im thinking worst case scenario and we dont get the Visa then my money will be stuck in Oz! I suppose we could still go for a holiday to release them!

Hi, We are hoping to recieve sponsorship from SA for the 190 very soon Does anyone know if its the state or actual visa application that questions this? and where we need to pop a statement to give our intentions? Also will they query this or just refuse us! The only place I've seen a query about this is Form 80 - should we pop a statement in the notes at the end? Thanks in advance, Just trying to cover all bases so we get a direct grant if poss :)

Hi Jetblast, you've lost me this time I'm afraid, Is the PTE another english test? We did the Ielts and scanned a copy of a paper certificate, and uploaded that into the application. Im sure they'll request it if its missing or you could sendcit to them again just to be sure. Is it me or have a load of posts about front loading medicals etc all disappeared from this thread! bit random Hoping we hear soon :)

I think they had a large amount of applications between the 5th and 10th July that they are processing faster than expected hence the reduction in processing times. The specified processing times have reduced from the last update so I'm assuming this does apply to us. And it was updated yesterday - I'm stalking them on a daily basis hoping for news! ?

Processing times have been reduced to 12-16 weeks ... whoop, so for us - 16 weeks from 15 July, we should know by 4th November! fingers crossed - finally some good news [emoji3]

no worries, helps keep me sane, chatting to all you guys in the same boat. We were just talking about a holiday too, but reckon if we were to go long haul we'd prob go to the states as it would be an unlikely holiday from oz! We'll see, cant believe we have to do another british winter! gutted!

ahh I see, I thought SA were quite methodical and as long as you ticked all their boxes you were in! I think some of the other states can be a bit more unpredictable. Fingers crossed I'm right ;)
