I just nearly jumped out of my chair...

Just now a medicare letter had been triggered in to my MyGov account offering me to join the Australian Organ Donation Register... and I absolutely convinced myself that this was due to a change in immigration status.

Alas no, there seems to be no correlation...

I'm so bored of looking at 'Received' that i looked back through my Immi Account application history, and my 457 took 2 weeks from submission to approval.... 2 weeks. Ah those were the days...

Could be up to one month, possibly shorter, but unlikely longer than one month after you submitted subsequent docs.

Have to say the whole thing is a complete lottery.  I work for a very large employer who sponsors a lot of 186 visa's.  Timescales are ranging 3 to 9 months.  One of the guys who works for me applied mid November and received theirs in March.

I've been addicted to this forum and my immigration account over the last 17 months...Way too much! believe me   It has been helpful sometimes but I've been also very upset when people provides misleading information or when people shares weird theories (example: Only unskilled people waits long time, only people who works for small companies etc etc

this is mostly Bulls*****  and very irritating to read    I guess,  this is just luck of the draw seriously 

I can now enjoy my freedom and good luck to everyone, but especially to people who have been waiting forever.

When its assigned to an agent - they may request a new one they may not. 

You could always just apply for another anyway and upload the doc when it comes through. This would prevent further delays if they do request it to be done again.

I'm in a similar situation - UK one expires soon.

 

Cheers. I feel like i can confidently leave this for now. If necessary i'll get a fast tracked one couriered over when the request comes through. At this point i'll be happy to have the file opened at all, waiting another month for them to review updated docs will be the least of my worries.

Thank you. It's only the UK ones that expire soon, and we haven't left Australia since we submitted. I am due back in the UK for a month in July though... i'm guessing due to that they might ask me to update them when my case is opened, which is fine. So long as is doesn't get refused on the spot!

My police checks expire soon, i'm about 7 months in to waiting on TRT.

I emailed the NSW PESE email to ask this question last week but have had no response. Based on people's recent experience should I replace them immediately or wait to be asked?

I don't think there is a number you can call now! They closed it a few weeks ago as far as i'm aware.
