Hello all, My partner in the UK is applying for the Prospective Marriage visa and he needs to provide certified copies of his passport and birth certificate. I read on Royal Mail's website that they have a Document Certification Service and it mentions which documents they can certify, passport being one of them. However, it does not mention birth certificates on the list. Can someone please tell me how my partner can get his birth certificate certified in Scotland?

Hi all, My partner and I are now gathering all our evidence to apply for the Prospective Marriage visa. My question is, can our personal statements about our relationship be typed on a computer, printed and then hand signed? I'd rather have it typed and then hand signed to keep it neat.

Thanks for the information. For the Prospective Marriage visa, did you have to supply a certificate of no impediment or a letter to certify that neither of you are married already?

Hello, Can I please ask how much in pounds your visa cost? I know on the website it says 4400 pounds and Australian dollars it's $6865. But 4400 seems a little off, I think it should be more around 4200. Any info would be appreciated.
