  1. Hey mate. Look at this spreadhseet: https://goo.gl/bFWMIY You'll get an idea about the average processing time. Good luck to you!
  2. Those who are waiting onshore... have a life here... We have a job, friends, apartment, maybe a boyfriend or girlfriend, etc... And we can lose everything...which make things worse compared to those who have never been to Australia... Anyway this is not a competition between onshore and offshore applicants And I guess we're waiting patiently... We just complain sometimes...
  3. Your nomination has already been approved so I guess you might get an answer very soon. You can have a look at the spreadsheet (and add your information ) Finger crossed mate! My 457 was also granted in 4 days... 321 days for my PR and still no news. Don't compare with me, it seems I'm just very unlucky...
  4. I don't think priority is given to transition based on the spreadsheet. First, there're more transition applications. Direct entry applications can obviously require more time in terms of assessment (they're also reviewing the skills) And we don't know how many DE people have applied from offshore. This information was not available on the spreadsheet. I guess offshore applications takes more time.. which make sense for me [emoji5][emoji5] However, I think we don't have enough information to draw any trends between all applications or streams [emoji5]
  5. Yes mate.. all your documents must be translated.. and you should translate your documents by an accredited translator like NAATI
  6. Thanks for your reply. I'm going to ask my MA if we can upload additional documents. However, I also think it's bizarre... Because this part has already been checked by the skills assessment organisation I guess that's why it takes so long to get our visas...
  7. Have you applied onshore or offshore? Would you recommend to update my application and include the payslip related to my current sponsor and previous companies? Thanks for your advices...
  8. I applied under the DE stream... And I haven't provided any payslips as part of my visa application..[emoji848][emoji848] However I did provide some for the skills assessment... Anyone else can tell us? [emoji5][emoji5]
  9. I keep my fingers crossed for you mate. But unfortunately, it seems there's no logic when looking at the spreadsheet... Big companies or not, DE or TRT etc...I don't think it really matters. I really don't understand the gaps between some application and it's definitely not fair. I hate the fact they make people think there's something wrong with their applications even when an application is complete and I'm sure they sometimes prioritise some applications that they shouldn't really prioritise. (yes, I guess I have some examples after 10 months waiting for my visa... A big part of this process is random, messy, unfair.. Ok, today I'm losing hope....
  10. I guess this is not a surprise... At least for me... It might be better to communicate longer processing time.. It might help people to not have high expectations and be less frustrated Good luck everyone!
  11. Why would it not work for Direct Entry? Some people who applied under the DE stream already works for their sponsor So I guess there's not much difference between Transition and Direct Entry... So, what works for Transition people may also work for Direct Entry? BTW, I can't wait to see the updated processing times!!! They should release them very soon
  12. I don't think that people are referring to processing times when they first lodged. I applied in December 2016. The processing times were even worse for DE people. So yes, I've been hopeful to see the current processing times and I'm now kinda frustrated that I'm not gonna be part of this 90% Anyway, good things happen to good people, so we'll get it... soon or later So let's be patient and positive guys
  13. That's a good question... but unfortunately no one really knows....[emoji848][emoji848]
  14. I'm also becoming more and more frustrated about this whole process.... I talked to my MA but he doesn't want to follow-up before 12 months of waiting..... I also asked again for the Form 80. He mentioned that this form is only requested when the case officer has some concerns about an application...
  15. Hello guys Unfortunately, I'm going to celebrate 10 months of waiting very soon... I know that my MA is not very keen to follow up with the Department of Immigration right now. Do you think it's worth calling them? Does it really change anything to follow up? They might be overwhelmed with all our enquiries so I'm wondering if I''d just make things even worse... This waiting game is very painful...
  16. There might have less people who works during public holidays?? Who knows what they're doing anyway....
  17. Yes... But i bet they're gonna extend a lot the processing time next months.. I guess that most of people who have been waiting for more than 10 months have called them. So I'm sure we're gonna be back to 13 months or more soon...then they won't have to worry about our requests..[emoji5]
  18. Not only trade occupations...[emoji52] I'm sure that I'm gonna fall under the 10% as well...[emoji52][emoji856] I don't understand... this waiting game is killing me...[emoji52]
  19. You can find it at the bottom of your acknowledgement letter. However, They might change your processing centre once your application is allocated to an officer?? I don't have an officer unfortunately so I'm not 100% sure [emoji5][emoji5]
  20. Yes it's good to see a few grants! I'm now secretly hoping to be part of the 90% applicants..and get my PR this month! [emoji5][emoji5]
