  5. Part of a tourist visa is that you are a genuine tourist, I think they will become suspicious and realise that she is not a 'genuine' tourist. I would say this is a very bad idea. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. You need to apply for a different bridging visa to be able to leave the country? I can't shed any other light I'm afraid. I'm waiting but I only applied Dec 2015 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Hey, I did it a few months ago. Super easy and came back within 2 weeks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hey, I'm not sure as I'm doing a defacto partner visa, but without the employer. It depends who is sorting the visa application out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hey, I'm sure that will be enough, but I'm not speaking from experience, I'm still waiting for my visa to come through! Have you included photos? Nights out etc, family functions. Also, a friend of mine included the receipt for the engagement ring. Surely your partner had some post there? I would just include a cover letter explaining this and include whatever post he has sent there (bank statements?). I don't know if it's the same with your visa, but you have a chance to write and explain how you have supported each other financially etc in the application. Good luck! 10. Depends what you wanted to do. I came from a pretty corporate environment and wanted to continue so hot in touch with some recruiters and had a lot of responses. But I just went travelling instead. Loads of casual work around though. Bar work etc. Just make sure if you want bar work you get an RSA. But each state has a different one to compelye Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. All the info you need is online. Just google it. But they're easy to obtain, just have to fill out a visa form and I had mine approved within a few hours. I went over with around $5000 but no body checked. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Are you trying to secure a 2nd on the WHV? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Hey, I'm applying for the same visa. Do you know why you were rejected? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Report him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Hey, have you contacted any visa lawyers? When I came over to AUS they were very helpful and I explained my circumstances and they told me the best options available to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I'm in Australia at the moment with a baby and applied for my partner visa, so can stay here on a bridging visa, but if you're applying from outside Australia, you have to wait for the decision to be made until you can move here. Sorry, that's not a lot of help but I don't think you could even come here on a tourist visa and apply from inside as you would be breaking the T&CS of the visa. Have a look on the au gov website, or give them a call, but i don't think you'll be getting over here before a partner visa is granted, especially as you have a dependant. 17. My reason for travel is to introduce family to new baby, how could I prove that? Would that be reason enough? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Thankyou, it doesn't have any travel rights, unless my visa is accepted in that time. I have to get a BV b To travel Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  22. Wow, awesome advice. Thanks. I was only going to get him one as we are going to UK and I thought he could travel on that. Maybe I won't both If he still needs to leave on an Aussie visa? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. So I don't need to apply to get him citizenship? He has it automatically!? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. How easy are they to obtain? How long do they take? How soon before travel should you apply?? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. How did you go about the process? How much did it cost? I got confused looking online as it mentions that if the father is British etc born after 1985 can apply (I think) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
