Mate! I got my my son's medical certificate from my GP and it was accepted!!!!! if ur baby is more than six months then you have to go to BUPA medical services. check on immi website. If your child is less than six months old, he does not need to be taken physically for a medical examination. An "on the papers" health assessment can be completed for him.

I'd say you'll get yours by 26th August, Friday but only if NO DOCS REQUESTED. Otherwise you just add one more month on top of 6 months.

Firstly u need to obtain birth certificate of ur baby then apply for a passport and then apply for ur baby's 457 visa and once u received ur baby's 457 visa then you'll be able to get ur baby added to your 186 application. Don't forget to get your baby's medical certificate from ur GP. Immigration will ask for that too. It's a massive pain.

What is your status on immi account? "Assessment in progress"??. I'm having exaclty same issue as you, quite frustrating been one month already to submit my son's health checks etc

I assume Immi is only working on other visas than 186 or 187

If ur status shows "Assessment in Progress" then perhaps it takes 28 days max. were the docs requested for visa or nomination?

It took 20 days to obtain my son's bridging visa after I got him added to my 186 application. I think ur MA is right!

Same thing happened with me and its now delaying my visa approval. Case officer sent my HAP ID last week and now everything is done but I'm still waiting waiting and frekn' waiting

Hi All, I'm wondering how long approx it takes for the visa to be granted once medical examination is done and updated/ clearance on immi account ? Note: I was asked to undertake medical checks by DIPB last week because I didn't submit my medicals when application was lodged.
