I visited other branch of medicare today and got temp card on paper without any prob. They said, I will be receiving medicare card in two weeks by mail. The lady yesterday was quite old and grumpy and I think she was having a bad day.

Ok bro. i will go to other medicare office tomorrow with acknowledgement letter. Can you pls advise which office should i visit in sydney to get temporary medicare on the spot?

Moreover, they have taken my documents and said you'll get a refusal letter perhaps in 3 weeks. There's no temporary medicare card available. It was westfield Liverpool medicare branch.

Guys! I went to Medicare office with bridging visa grant and passport but they said I'm not eligible of Medicare because my bridging visa is not active at the moment and i still have 457 visa. Please advise.

@Mannsaab. I have got a Bridging visa but it states that" THIS BRIDGING VISA IS NOT IN EFFECT BECAUSE YOUR TEMPORILY BUSINESS VISA IS CURRENTLY IN EFFECT" because I still have 2 more years on my 457 visa. so do you think I am still eligble for medicare card?

Hi Everyone! My nomination was applied through MA: 20-01-2016--- waiting for approval and the visa application was lodged on: 22-01-2016---waiting for approval
