@rammygirl so we don't need to get Birth certificate? We have confirmed with our family friends who got their citizenship.. they did also mention that they have shown their passport along with other documents ( Except birth certificate ) as passport carries all the details.. Name, Gender, Mother and Fathers name, DOB, Husband name ( If married ) Since you have mentioned this is a generic email from the department and I also agreed.... but this is so confusing... I mean at the time of filing our PR .. we have never submitted any Birth certificate as Passport is the most relevant document to prove your identity along with other details.

@ahad12.. so have you got your citizenship? and officials didn't object with these two - SSC and Marriage certificate? I mean have they accepted it? If I need to get Birth certificate it would cost me around A$ 65 per person x 2..

Hello All, So finally we have got the news for our Test date: 31st Oct 2018. Applied on Nov 18, Wyndham Council, Melbourne and Online application Test email received: 21 Aug 2018 So they have asked for below original document to your appointment date. So, If we don't have a birth certificate ( Me and my partner ).. what should we do? As I remember, we didn't submit during our PR process. Normally, the above details can be fetched thru a passport or High School Certificate.

Previous one was for PR .. now it is for Citizenship timeline I would like to share my details Applied Online- 19th Nov 2017 Council- Wyndham Council, Melbourne, VIC Acknowledgment Received- 19th Nov 2017 Test Date - Unknown Yet Status Shown: Received ( and waiting to be Approved ? )

Hi Brar, What I have analysed if you do not send followup mail to CO , it will take appx months time But I firmly believe now, there is no harm to send a followup mail to your CO, to let them know that you have submit the requested docs.

Wow.. Fantastic Monday for me.. Got my Grant letter from MA, So officially announced we are PERMANENT RESIDENT of Australia Pls see below my timeline Nomination applied: 15th May 2015, Approved on 24th Sep 2015 Visa Applied: 30th May , Approved on 23th Sep Visa docs requested on 23th Sep Submitted on 29th Sep My MA told me earlier , the case has been lying with NSW PESE But when I see the nomination approval, Case officer was from WA PESE I have followed with my MA after a month for further update after we submit our visa docs. MA did the followup with the CO and sent them an email, and the next day when I check my Immi account, the status changed to Finalised Later I also came to know MA sent followup mail to TEAM 6 NSW PESE But when I see the grant letter, I came to know TEAM 6 is in WA ( CO was from WA PESE ).

Thanks Bret... I haven't got the grant letter. I hope everything will be good. And unable to check the VEVO, I think Immi webserver is down. I did not get any notification when the status got changed. But when I login to the Immi account page, then immediately I got the notification email on my personal email address. I still cant believe that status has been changed. It has been a very long journey mate. Wish you good luck mate.

Hi Guys, Pls help... I am started getting the goose bumps. I checked my status online and it is showing "finalised" changed from "information requested". Though no notification received as yet :-( When I try to open the grant letter, I am not able to download the same. Could it be due to MA is involved on getting all the email notifications from the deptt ? My heart is beating so fast. Its randomly I checked Saturday morning and it showed as Finalised Although I did check on Friday evening but since then it was showing "Information requested". I am hoping I will get the grant letter from MA Monday morning. We are so happy it is one of the greatest gift on my wife's birthday which is coming in couple of days time. Wish me a good luck guys and I am hoping everything will be smooth from now on.

Yes true and everyone is hoping for their best. This waiting is so frustrating. Whenever I received any new email, my cellphone goes with beep and every beep gives me hope that the next mail will be from my MA to give the good news about the VISA GRANT.
