Hi, what visa are you going to be applying for? I am a deputy manager of a day nursery but my job isn't in the list so we are going on my partners job.

Thanks for the info! He has had a quick look at the practice tests and said it seems more difficult than the ielts but that's prob just because it's completely new. He sailed through the reading, listening and speaking on ielts, just bloody half a mark off in the writing. So frustrating! Yes we are native English speakers [emoji106]

Hi, Just wondering if you have any tips for the PTE. My partner is guna book this one as he has done ielts twice and although we got the score we needed for 60 points, he was half a mark off getting superior for the 20 points. Very annoying. He wants to give the PTE a go as he does t m ow how he can get any higher in the ielts. Just wondering g if you have any tips, any areas he should practice more? Also is it quite easy to get booked onto a course? Any info would be appreciated!

Our expression of interest is being submitted today but my partner only has 60 points and after doin the ielts test twice he is now going to attempt the pearsons to try to get the extra 10 points which will take him to 70 points. Our agent will then update the EOI with the points. That's great that you got it on 65 points as I heard they wern't inviting any occupation with less than 70. Where are you planning on heading to?

Hi, we are in a similar position..my partner is a plumber and has just taken his vetassess practical, currently waiting on our results!! We are hoping to apply for the skilled independent. We currently have 60 points after taking the ielts test twice. Apparently they are not inviting with 60 points at the moment so my partner is going to try the Pearsons test tontey and get more points. We are hopefully moving to Brisbane too!
