Happy anniversary to us - two years in the waiting room today - tried to get out of our seats to stretch our legs but couldn't get up! Anyhow we've got our 600 visas now so off to Perth on the 19 July to wait in a better waiting room! All the best Steve

Hi all We've applied for the 600 visas as we have flights booked for July but as yet after 3 weeks have heard virtually nothing. We do have some time left on our e651's and can travel out on those but can we remain onshore in Australia when the 600's are granted? Stress - what stress??!! Kindly advise your thoughts please Steve

Just a question to those who have now got bored waiting or who have no or little alternative, like us, and lodged an application for the 12 month e600 visa. What time frame did you get grant in and was the procedure complex for you or straightforward? Cheers Steve

Hi all Silly question perhaps? We're trying to work out what the value of our belongings are for shipment, do the insurers Letton Percival require a full inventory with a cost for every single item, ? We find their paperwork pretty ambiguous Any advice would be great as it's doing our heads in!! Cheers Steve

This is very important to all permanent migrants from the UK whatever their current age as everyone will eventually be entitled to their UK state pension over there. I would ask the moderators to make this a "sticky thread" please!!
