Hi jen do you have any idea why your application was granted early? I have been quoted th 8-9 months for my pmv like you. Do you think it helped applying online?

i originally thought it would take 6 months too so booked my wedding for October this year. I had to change the date and provide my case officer with an updated letter from my celebant she didn't want a new NOIM done just the letter

I have recently opened an NAB account ready for when I move. One of the requirements is that your passport is stamped on entry by immigration. Has anyone with a PMV visa had there passport stamped on arrival or do you ask?

Does anybody know now long the London office shuts for Christmas. Am I likely to get a grant the end of December or will it be january

It was me my c/o confirmed it. Thank goodness was worried I was going to have to wait even longer. We applied around the same time I was hoping for a grant before Xmas but that seems unlikely now lol

Just had a very quick reply email from my c/o Thanks for your email. The new processing times only apply to new applications and your application is not affected thus 8-9 months would still apply in your case. You can still travel on a tourist visa if we are unable to finalise the application by December. Hope this puts people's minds at rest

Wow 10-14 months and I thought waiting 8-9 was bad. They couldn't make people who have already applied wait that long id go mad

That's a good idea. I'm going to wait tho as I'm hoping mine is granted before Xmas so I can spend Xmas with my fiancé

It's so hard waiting. I bet it goes so slow when it's coming up for 8 months. Would be good if they could give us an approx time. As booking flights in advance is so much cheaper

My co sent me her email when I first heard from her. The email she sent to me was from her personal email. I've always used that to contact her directly

i hate the waiting game too! Especially as my fiancé is in Australia and I'm in England. I just hope my visa is granted before Xmas so we can be together for that

I just read on the website that was 5 months. I didnt use an agent did myself. I no I might book my flight for January seeing as after Xmas there are always flight sales.
