  1. Hi Our 143 was lodged on 14 June 2013 and the 1st VAC was charged to the credit card on 28th June cheers.
  2. Hi thank you Lou8670 , Bridgeman and Blueray for your postings in response to my medical results query cheers
  3. Hi pat & bill Do you not mean visa 103, because, according to the DIAC the 301 visa was withdrawn in 1994 ? Cheers Barry
  4. Hi everyone To those of you who have had their eHealth medicals offshore, particularly in the UK, can you tell me how and when the results were communicated to you I know the panel doctor cannot divulge the info , he sends the results to OZ, but nowhere on the DIAC/DIBP sites is there an indication how the applicant is notified Can anyone help please ?
  5. Hi We have our medicals arranged for next week Perth immi seem to be going through lots of changes recently and you never know they may spring a surprise and assign a CO well before that (one can only live in hope) cheers Barry
  6. Hi Pri Just last Tuesday I emailed Perth immi and asked when we could expect a CO to be assigned to our 143 application which was lodged in June 2013. they replied within 20 minutes, would you believe, and said it would be November/December, which is 17/18 months after lodgement Regarding medicals, if you are in a country which has the eHealth arrangement , the online system of notifying OZ of the medical results (ie UK) they go off to Sydney immediately after the panel doctor has completed the examination Have you tried logging on to the website with you HAP I'd, you may be able to track it's progress? On the AOS, am unable to help as we are just arranging for our daughter to take the completed form into Centrelink this week cheers. Barry
  7. Hi What you must remember is that the acknowledgement date is irrelevant ,as every stage in the process is calculated from the application lodgement date so I would guess that your lodgement date based on your stated acknowledgement date of 12 April would be sometime in January/February which means to my way of thinking that your CO assignment is imminent We have not reached that stage yet as our 143 application was lodged in June 2013 and a recent communication from Perth immi indicated that our CO would be assigned in November/December From the info I have gathered from this forum,it seems that when you have been assigned a CO they will then contact Centrelink, the UK equivalent of Social Security, for info on your AOS and request the AOS to pay the bond into a frozen account and when this stage is completed you will be granted your visa after you have paid the 2nd VAC cheers Barry PS Fellow PIO posters please don't hesitate to correct me if my assumptions are wrong
  8. Hi According to info contained on an auto reply email from Perth immi dated 1st June they were assessing (I assume this means assigning Case Officers)143 applications received in January 2013 hope this helps cheers Barry
  9. Hi Re application for tourist visa 651 (evisitor) the above visa is valid for 1 year and you can enter Australia as many times as you wish but with a maximum stay of 3 months per occasion I am aged 77 , UK Passport holder and applied online for this visa, as I have done for several years. This visa is free and there are no medicals questions or a requirement to undertake a medical examination The visa is granted instantaneously online and the last time I renewed this visa was in March of this year Has this ruling just come into force because I have been unable to find any references to this on the DIAC or DIBP websites ? Regards Barry
  10. Hi Jerry Just a couple of points about your postings. When you say your allotment date was 12 April 2013, do you mean the date your application was lodged and received by the Contributory Parent Visa (CPV) office in Perth, which is, as far as I am aware is the only centre that deals with CPVs which intrigues me because you said you spoke to someone in the South Australia office who told you your application would be assessed and granted in mid August cheers Barry
  11. Hi Pri Immi are assigning COs 16 months after receipt of the application ,not 16 months after the acknowledgement so I would say that you are well overdue for a CO assignment cheers Barry
  12. Hi Blueray I'm sorry to hear that you are still experiencing problems processing your documents If you are based in the UK , it is possible to obtain a replacement passport at short notice by contacting your nearest Passport Office(the addresses are available on the internet by inputting your post code) and telephoning them to arrange an appointment As regards the police check timescale it is also possible to have it completed in 2 working days from the receipt of the application by them, so probably about 5 days in all. This premium service costs £80 as against the standard £45 hope this helps cheers Barry
  13. On 5 May immi were assigning COs to CPV applications lodged on 19 November 2012 so it looks like you have about 6 months yet to wait cheers Barry
  14. Hi Nicola included in an auto-reply from WA Parents on 5 May they stated that they were processing (ie assigning COs) 173 to 143 applications lodged on 25 September 2013 cheers
  15. Hi On 5th May, in an auto-reply from the WA Parents CPV Office ,they stated that they were assigning COs for applications LODGED on 19th November 2012. I would guess that your application was lodged about 6/7 weeks before your acknowledgement date of 13th January 2013 so you should be allocated a CO within days If you wish to get an update on CO Assignment dates , just email WA Parents with no subject and just say "Hi" and you will receive an auto reply immediately which contains among other info their latest CO assignment date Hope this helps cheers. Barry
  16. Hi regarding obtaining HAPIDs, if you turn up my posting to BLUERAYon page 680 you will find guidance on how to proceed As far as I am aware medical results and police checks are valid for 1 year and I would also set the AOS in motion because Centrelink have a reputation for dragging their feet processing applications cheers Barry
  17. Hi i'm sorry to hear that you have not made any progress with immi We are about 3/4 months behind you in the process so am unable to say what immi in Perth would want from you prior to assigning a Case Officer When we applied the system seems to be going through a change because with our acknowledgement letter they asked for the form 80 straight away by email and at the same time gave us dates to start the police check and the medicals The only things I can suggest are: Asking your sponsor to telephone or write to immi in Perth and send the letter by courier or if Perth is your destination ask him/her to make a personal visit to the Perth CPV office to try and sort things out Sorry am unable to help further Good luck, I'm sure everything will pan out soon cheers Barry
  18. Hi I am presuming that you are in a country which has the eHealth arrangement with Oz ie UK if so, your medicals examination results are sent directly to Oz online and if you were given an A rating by the participating doctor, they will receive an OK from Oz within a very short time, sometimes just minutes hope this helps Barry
  19. Hi Blueray i'm very sorry to hear that you are having problems with immi The only thing that I can suggest to get your medicals moving is to email immi and apply for your HAP IDs which is the reference you use to make an appointment with the approved medical examiner If you email them with the reference HAPLTR and your file reference in the subject line, you should get a response very quickly I know it doesn't solve your problems entirely but it would be a start cheers Barry
  20. Hi Just for info Today on immi's auto reply email they stated that they are starting assessments ie assigning COs for CPV applications received by them on 19 Nov 2012 - which I calculate to to be 17 months and 20 days An auto reply from immi on 3 March stated they were starting assessments for applications received on 15 August 2012 which I calculate to be 18 months and 15 days. An improvement in processing time to CO of about 25 days lets hope they keep on improving !! cheers Barry
  21. Hi Thank you for the info regarding the RHCA I was aware that immigrants ex UK could obtain treatment via this route but it wasn't until I researched, prompted by you ,the extent of what was available to 804 and other visa applicants Looking at both full Medicare and RHCA benefits, there seems to be no difference. There must be some of course. Can you enlighten me please cheers Barry
  22. According to DIAC form 1024i - Bridging Visa quote : non-citizens are eligible for Medicare if they have applied for a permanent residence visa other than a Parent Visa
