  1. We will be having a turkey dinner (crown ) with all the trimmings in the UK the weather will probably be wet and grey. We are hoping our visa will be granted soon and looking forward to our first christmas down under next year.
  2. Hi, ours took 8 working days and that was in November
  3. Hi From what I have read sometimes it is not required. However if you have the time you could complete it so it's ready to go if requested. I'm not sure who needs to complete it though. But I'm sure it gives some guidance on the 1st page. Good luck
  4. This is brilliant news @Mahdear21 I'm very happy for you. Can't believe you didn't open the email, ha, I'm stalking my phone on every ping! Make sure you celebrate )
  5. Hopefully now you've uploaded it won't take too long. Good luck and keep posting
  6. Thanks for your reply Cagsy, appreciate it. It would be lovely to get a grant before Christmas, but I know my case is not straight forward. So it's good to hear that they didn't keep you waiting too long. Congratulations again
  7. Was your medical referrred then @Cagsy. Yeah I agree I think if I didn't have a recent medical history I would have probably gone it alone. But our agent has been fantastic and came highly recommended. I hope your doing something to celebrate ) it's fantastic news can't wait for our turn.
  8. I have an agent, so everything uploaded. Medicals done. But my medical has/will be referred
  9. Fabulous!! Anyone else still waiting in September ?
  10. Well done to everyone that has got there grants today!
  11. Oh no?! Hope I've not got the same agent doubt it though my agents have been fantastic. Hope it all gets sorted now
  12. I know what you mean! We have sent our agent our PCC's last week. The doctor at the spire said it would take a week to get our results and send it over! Just hoping we get news before Christmas, it would be a fabulous Christmas present! hope you get some news soon
  13. Hi Whites We were looking in the southern suburbs and Gold Coast region?! Which is huge I know. But we haven't pinned down jobs yet so that will certainly influence our decision. I'm using an agent so Im not sure if I habe CO, I have asked them to let me know when we are allocated one. We only had out medicals yesterday and mine is going to be referred anyway, so think we are in for a long wait.
  14. Hi Becky Congratulations on CO I had to get some more as our house was broken into and they took the safe. So I googled copy's of birth certificate and went into the gov.co.uk website. You can order as many as you need, think they were around £9 each. Plus they are full certificates with parent names etc.... A very straight forward process and think you can opt to get them on next day delivery. Hope this helps )
  15. We have been very lucky! We have a daughter of 13 and while she will miss her friends she is very positive about the move. She can't wait to start driving at 16. We have discussed all the possibilities that Australia might have to offer, jobs, weather, schooling etc etc.. Good luck
  16. Thanks so much kelly for the update we are looking to move to the Gold Coast / brisbane area! So I'm delighted to see that you have settled in quickly good luck and keep us posted

  20. Hi all, Great thread. We have submitted on the 30th September so will follow with interest! Can't believe that visa's submitted in early September are already being granted! So exciting! We have used an agent due to medical problems so I'm sure our visa will be delayed. Good luck everyone
