I mi do pay that aswell 15 pound upward for a meal in UK ! And I've not had a bad one ! The pubs I go and I also can go a country pub and get proper hand made chips for a fiver and homemade pie ! Lol well obviously I haven't tried every where in brissie yet but neither have I tried everywhere in UK I just find what I like and stick to what I know ! and also I've paid far more than 25 dollars for my meals in brissie and they haven't been great spice ave is good he does as I like it I just ask him lol and he doesn't mind at all !

You can go country pubs in UK and find proper cut chips and homemade pie ! I know a cafe aswell and she bakes all her own stuff ! The weath spoon type pubs yes they are frozen dinners but u will get country pubs ! My grandad ran a pub the Earle grey pub in leek and my other grandad ran the Bulls vaults in Newcastle u Lyme when I was a girl and served proper food there too but today will be hard find pubs that do unfrozen meals but I know where to go in UK ! And also the chips and stuff are frozen here too !

I went another restaurant at the light house wasn't cheap neither the fish had eyes and a tail and need throwing back in the sea ! Carny eat that crap ! And you had to bone ya own fish grose ! I left it grose grose and grose

And I get a decent curry in UK also at the place we used to go ! Now I went a few curry houses not far from me here where I live and the chicken is like eating boiled chicken grose ! So I like breast lol

Do u call in a pub 38/42 dollars for a steak lower end ! Here ! I go curry houses here my fav is spice ave in comparison what I've tried here he's the best one ! I also went for curry in Cleveland was dearer than spices and it was crap absorley crap and I've tried a few tried a few in Perth too and they r crap as well ! I have been restaurants in brissie they were good and still only 42 dollars for a steak ! Yet when u don't want go in the city do u think walking in a pub is good food because I don't for double the cost of UK pubs ! Depends what u have I only eat chicken or fillet here ! I don't do fish , I don't like Chinese here what I've tried , I like one fish in Aus and that's Sharkys in Mandurah ! So I can go a lovely pub in UK and at least it tastes decent for the money

Not the places I go do that I choose quality over price too and I had far better meals in UK than I've been served here ! For more money here ! Curry house is nice here though and the curry house what we usually use in UK is nice ! Depends where u go but for the cost of a fillet steak here I expected better ! It was crap and has been in the pubs I've been in here aswel only decent one was a restaurant in brissie ! I went a curry house in Cleveland they served me the arse end of the chicken I think it was foul ! And do u know what they do in curry houses in brissie I won't say which one of course and I won't say how I know ! The mango chutney what is left on everyone's table goes back in the tub behind the scenes ! It will go on everywhere **** like that will not just UK ! i shop in woollies and Coles all the time and for the cost of fruit and veg it's crap it is not fresh at all most days ! I also went the butchers for flame in yon that's not how u spell it I know lol but I ate it for tea that night and I had a right bad stomach next day ! And it wasn't cheap ! The fruit and veg in UK I don't care what label it's got on its always fresh as a daisy ! got back from UK paying 39p for a cucumber and 2:48 here other day bag of lettuce 5:50 84p in UK tomatoes 6:98 for the vine other day a pound in UK and fresher in UK ! Bananas taste better in UK to me lol I won't go on . My my sons girlfriend her dad works at a chicken factory in brissie I shall ask him what happens ! I here the Chinese r good at boning lmao and I here enough about how many chickens he counts and I here enough about red hats and yellow hats to the point I'm suicidle ! But I shall ask him lol

In the uk when we lived in UK we never got asked ! Never so maybe that's what u mean ! Here it's different whether they are asking for meet people in some cases , to get know people who have their work in common to build a network maybe ! But UK no never come across it but here it is the Brits !

I suppose some don't mean anything by it really ! They prob seeing if u have anything in common work wise !! But I have come across people who say about how well they doing and there posted pics on fb to people back home saying look how they r living and look at us well I saw a different picture I saw her hubbie was always in the pub she was out not giving a monkies she splatter bills on the window saying why haven't you paid this they going cut us off ! Lol but to people back home they living a dream no thanks that is not a dream I don't care if u av a pool I wouldn't want live like that if someone gave me a gold pig ! lol each to its own ! they looked at me like I was negative over the job situ ! I wasn't negative it was the truth ! They were saying everything was hunky dory and I knew it wasn't they have been here a while though ! They couldn't understand y I don't think Aus is any better than UK lol for me ! Well ill it's not just how it's gone here for us ! My hubbie had more industries to choose from in UK ! No perth bum bum it's some Brits that ask lol ! My hubby doesn't tell them ! But he went out the other week without me to a pub with a guy he knows to have a beer some of the guys friends were there and that is the first think they ask my hubby what he did lol my hubby just said engineer and they said oh I'm a engineer i am a welder for such a place ! Anyway my hubbie doesn't get wrapped up in that conversation had one pint and went home rang me and said when ya coming over lol so it is not the ozzies he did have a laugh with another couple there though ! I tell people I'm a cleaner pmsl if they ask I tell them what job my hubbie does if they ask ! It doesn't matter does it matter what u do I do get frowned up on being a cleaner lmao I think it's quite funnie ! Because everybody carny clean like me ya know and I couldn't do their job neither people think cleaning isn't hard to do lol well it is hard and I'll spot thinks cleaning wise other people wouldn't so ya do what ya do don't ya ! if they ask next time I'm going say I'm a brain surgeon ! Didnt u protect us face when in the Ozzie sun ! I wouldn't ever have Botox lol I use liz Earle or elimis morning and night keeps my skin lovely ! I don't sit in the sun for long u will find it catches you walking about I went home 6?weeks ago and my friends said I thought u lived in oz where is ta tan lol . I looked tanned to them but I look healthy I'd say not tanned lol . I I found in the UK my skin dried out a bit . My hair did fall better in UK . My skin is now back to normal like a baby's bum my bestie in UK is 52 has great skin ! And looks 40 lol she swears by Nivea I used to use Nivea but makes my skin feel greasy so I swapped to liz Earle and I love elimis too in fact I think I prefer elimis out the two depends which one I have in what I use they took my liz Earle off me at Heathrow lol yet I went through with it in my hand luggage this end but coming back I had to bin it ! Good job I have a stash in hey !

Flew with British airways and Singapore British airways was a great flight the food wasn't up to much though ! Singapore was fab and I liked there food better ! Never had issues though with either airline ! I would fly with any of them two again ! Most deffinatly ! And Singapore came round more with the drinks lol

Some of my friends work For nhs before that they worked for the council caring ! Always jobs going in care work ! The money isn't great I was on 6:39 a hour but my mate Chris worked for the council caring and she was on 10 pound a hr ! But apparently my mum said Cameron said carers pay has got be increased so we shall see !

Unless it's changed in UK since I left you only need mandatory training in UK and they set u on first and put you through the trainining . I did nvq 2 but didn't bother get it signed off because it wasn't recognised here ! But it you will get a job caring in UK !

well ya live and learn here I suppose never come across anything like it in UK but then again I grew up with my friends in UK massive difference ! And my hubbie would find it not difficult to get on with people but what mentality they have that's the only way I can describe it I suppose they have to be singing from the same hymn sheet as him we r two opposites he's a introvert I'm a extrovert lol we do everything together anyway when we together always have done ! ! yes you do tend to get that in some cases and also u go a bbq and they just talking about work and things lol I just want them put some music on lol i mean if the men want talk great but please put some music on lol I had someone here in qld turn their back on me when they asked what school my son went lol I find people strange sometimes or is it snobbery not sure ! its not just that though ya find ya were friends with people and then some fell out who u were friends with then they would tell u all about what happened ect to the point where u give up on going because ya don't like or ya feel awkward should I say that u r still friends with both sets of friends and then one doesn't like it ect .. The loveliest friends are the one in secret harbour I'd trust her with me life and another one who lives in Ellenbrook ! And then my hubby's friends he's know years from UK they r salt of the earth them pair are and my friends in UK are salt of the earth too lol but then we've know my hubby's friends in Perth along time and my UK friends along time and then u just have aquantancies which are nice but ya just speak whenever you see them
