Yep I think you're right. They originally said 4-6 weeks. Last week it went up to 6-7 weeks so lets see. I think the visa itself will be fine for the vast majority - it's just the waiting! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Hi Kim Looks like we just have to sit and wait. My company submitted the same day and nothing has changed so far. I also have the same start date as you. Hi I don't know about the nomination yet and I'm unlikely to find out as I don't have access to any systems. I work in the ICT space and have 20 years experience doing roughly the same role. I think if you are genuine I haven't seen anyone not been granted the visa...? Just seems to take time and the uncertainty seems to be the problem! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free

Hi what's your current status ? Are you using a migration agent, anything complicated about your application. Any Medicals done after you submitted etc. I've seen some get signed off in two weeks and some on 8. I very much doubt their is any problem it's just a big hassle waiting that long...looking on the website if you're on a low risk country e.g UK the target for completion is 2 months.... I just heard from my migration lawyer that the current wait time is 6-7 weeks. That was up from the original estimate of 4 - 6 weeks just last week.

Hi - I'm a Brit based in Dubai, wife and three kids are coming with me. My company is big multi national using Fragomen who have done everything so far re the visa process. We know we needed medicals as UAE is on the medium risk countries. The medical and results have been sent already and all the paperwork submitted. Job references, My CV, Certified copies of passports, wedding certificates, birth certificates etc. Fragomen said I can't chase and didn't mention I could have access to any online systems. They expect it to be all complete within 4 weeks. They gave a guide line of first week in October and didn't expect any issues. Winding down current role within my company before I make this move internally, looking forward to getting to Sydney and starting...

Just submitted my documents via my companies agent on 3rd September, I expect a long month ahead. I also don't have any access to systems to check progress.
