  1. Thanks very much mate, I'm really hoping all of us June guys get it this week, we totally deserve it! Any ideas why it takes roughly a week for the grant to come through after link disappears and co is only waiting for meds and nothing else?
  2. We certainly are closer now! I am confident that many of us june guys will have the grant before this week is up, I just have this feeling I really am hoping that when the organise health link is replaced with no health examinations are required etc means that a medical has been finalised.... But im guessin it does, maybe it just takes a while longer for the system to get updated at the co end. Anyways, our visa grants are on their way to us
  3. My agent got an email back from co today saying " I am only awaiting an outcome on the applicant's medical examination" so I know this is the only thing holding my grant back. Late last week, my organise health link was replaced with no health examinations are required..... etc etc so I'm guessing the system hasn't been updated at the co end that my med has recently been finalised (seeing the health link has been replaced). Have requested my agent to send an email to my co to advise of this.... Fingers crossed
  4. Many congratulations to you! All the best with your new life down under
  5. There are still a few of us June guys still waiting to receive the golden mail but really really hoping that all of us receive it this week! Gosh it has been such a long wait but we are nearly there
  6. Offshore... In the UK (IRELAND) But it doesn't seem to matter if offshore/onshore, reason being, they still have to carry out security checks, application checks etc regardless of current location..... Thank God, I'm not from a " high risk" country. Well maybe sometimes the amount of sh*t that goes on over here I feel like it is a high risk country lol
  7. Going on to my 14th week of waiting.... So yep, I know what you are talking about.....
  8. Hey Stefe Yes big relief! I checked on evisa and the organise health link was replaced with no medical examination required etc etc
  9. I second that. Maybe tomorrow they will give us our lucky break... in the meantime... I hope someone, somewhere has got their grant from the unmotivated team 8!
  10. Syed21 and FP215 I'm starting to get inpatient now too. I understand its best for a co to be proactive and concentrate on processing visas instead of sending emails back and forth. However it doesn't take long to send a quick brief email advising of status updates etc. Like I have been told before, seeing they are employed by the government, they have no incentive to work faster as they do the same thing day in day out. Unfortunately it looks like adelaide team 8 are really taking this to the next level though....
  11. Thanks shreya and debbio, such a relief! hoping we get our grants really soon, especially for the June guys seeing we have been sooo patient!!
  12. As FP215 has already said, its the date you sat the actual exam.
  13. No but my meds have been finalised today and I'm feeling VERY relieved!!
  14. My medical has finally been finalised after over 9 weeks of waiting, THANK GOD! Seems like a recent history of advanced (stage 4) testicular cancer was not a problem to them!! Soooo relieved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Hey Stefe That's what I'm hoping!! It depends if your meds are finalised or referred. For instance, my wife's meds cleared within 2 days of her doing the med, on the other hand, mine was referred and still haven't had confirmation that it has been finalised by now. On evisa my organise health link remains. But the evisa system is only as good as the co who bothers to update it. Some of them send you the grant, even though docs may still say requested/received etc.
  16. Congrats Somniya, Apkari and RPR189 on getting your grants! Wishing us June guys, team 8 could switch teams to enable us to get a speedy grant like you guys! Good luck to all of ya
  17. Many congrats to you Angela m1 I bet you are in shock!!! So much worrying and waiting and then BOOM; you finally got it Hoping the grants continue to follow through for the rest of us June guys. Congrats again, let the good times roll!!
  18. Hi aus13 Welcome Looks like you're in for bit of a wait my friend. On Friday it will be 13 weeks since lodgment and you have our team 8 Adelaide and they appear to be taking their time with us guys
  19. Very true syed21. I have been told that because the case officers are employed by the government that it gives them no incentive to work faster, and also cause they are doing the same thing day in and day out, so as a result, they become lazy. Looks like we may have the lazy team lol
  20. Nothing shreya. But hey, its a new week and hopefully it will bring us new things ie visa I really can't understand why and how there can be such a difference between processing teams...
  21. That's what I am hoping too syed21. Its certainly the not knowing is the worst! Hoping there is some movement at least with team 8 guys at least. Of course will keep u updated at my end.
  22. Hi alison13 Thanks so much! Here's hoping!! I wish you every success with the move and for your new life down under. You will LOVE Perth! Thats where we were living for two years! Beautiful weather and beaches (especially Scarborough beach) and of course many other great places like kings park etc. All the best
  23. I like your way of thinking Stefe. I'm hoping your prediction becomes reality tomorrow. Only time will tell
  24. Hi Stefe No news unfortunately. Its been exactly 1 week since the requested docs like form 80s have been uploaded and still no grant! Team 8 is sooo slow!
