  1. Hi alison13 Yep I'm claiming Australian work experience points. I just uploaded a few payslips and bank statements along side my employment reference. This should be sufficient. All the best with it
  2. Hi Hermalrood I would have filled it up and pre loaded it too if I had of known that it is usually asked for. Cause on evisa, the 189 visa checklist doesn't mention the form 80 hence why I thought it was rarely asked for. Didn't want to waste my time filling it up on the slim chance it would be requested. Anyways this form isn't too bad to fill up for me cause I'm just using the info that I filled up for my last visa. Thanks for the 'bible' haven't come across it before
  3. Shreya10, I can feel our grants coming soon :-) positive vibes
  4. Hi Syed21 Thanks for this. I will fill it up just to be safe. Although I hear of some case officers never asking for a form 80 for this 189 visa. Also its not on the documents checklist guide either. I wonder why?? Will start filling it up anyway.
  5. Hi Shreya10 Thanks, I'm happy that the co has finally been allocated and that wonderful things will begin to happen lol. The lady told me on the phone that the co will get in touch if any other docs are required. So I'm thinking, as you say, we will possibly never here anything until our meds are finalised or even better, that golden ticket!! I never asked her how long it will take for meds to be cleared cause the last time i rang them i was told they didnt know. Are you using an agent? I am and wish I hadnt botherd in a way. Did you front load form 80? We haven't bothered, hoping they don't ask for it cause it seems to complex!
  6. Hi Shreya10 Yeah your right. It didn't take too long for FP125 meds to be finalised, hopefully we will have the same luck. I'm just off the phone with immigration and they told me I was allocated a co on the 27/8, Adelaide team 7!! I hear these guys are supposed to be the quickest at processing. Only time will tell
  7. Hey Shreya10 I believe the current processing times is around 3 months. But I have seen them being quicker than that. I am wondering though, if the increase in the amount of applications lodged prior to 1st July to save the extra diac fees will result in a back log in referred meds. Hopefully not! My patience is really starting to run out! Did you email health strategies to find out about your meds? Have you got a co allocated yet? As far as I know, I don't!! 10 weeks since lodgement this Friday!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!
  8. Hi Shreya10 I'm not surprised your a bit confused. I'm confused about the whole system. Like where is my grant?? Lol Global health are responsible for the processing of meds. In other words, when your panel clinic uploads the results, they are processed by global health. If you get an A grade by the doctor, that particular medical will (usually) be auto cleared by the system. However, if you are graded B, then this will trigger on the system causing it automatically being referred, to be cleared by a medical proffesional. Like i said, global health are responsible for processing meds and if referred they are placed in a queue to be double checked by medical experts (MOC). I emailed them to find out the statues. They were very quick to respond. The following day actually. Health.strategies@immi.gov.au Hope this helps. Let me know how you get on
  9. Here's my two pennies worth. My wife and I have lived in Australia for 2 years (perth). Loved every minute of it. Australia has much more to offer than the Uk, the economy, the job prospects, weather, lifestyle (slower and healthier) all the parks and beaches (litter free mainly, unlike UK!!) etc. We found that the home sickness comes in waves and its something that will never go away. However, we have to be practical and think with our heads, not our hearts. For us, we had a much better quality of life in Australia. Better place to bring up children etc. We are currently back in the UK, not that we want to be, but unfortunately we had no other option. We have both noticed a big decline in the place where we live unfortunately, our town is now like a ghost town with loads of shops closed down. The job prospects are terrible over here too and not to mention the weather... We have our pr visa lodged and looking forward to getting back to Australia for good!!
  10. Hi Shreya10, No worries, I did leave you a comm but I know the amount of posts left on this thread can result in missed comms. I am currently in the UK  can't wait to get back. 2 days after doing our medicals, my wife's organise health link disappeared to 'no health examination required for this applicant based ... etc but my organise health link was still there. I contacted health strategies and they confirmed that my wifes has been cleared, but mine is still waiting to be assessed by the MOC (referred). To be honest, I was expecting mine to referred because I suffered ill health over a year ago. All good now thankfully
  11. Hi apra216 I had my skills approved by EA, but because my degree was completed in the UK, I didn't have to complete a CDR because of my degree being an accredited engineering qualification (I had to fill up the Sydney accord application form). I'm no expert, but I think you can only claim relevant experience POST qualifications. So you can only claim 2.5 yrs experience, therefore you wouldn't be able to claim the 5 points (as your lacking the 3 years) Also on an EOI, you can only claim points that you currently have. Don't even consider claiming points that you don't currently have, as this could result in your application being rejected. If you are claiming points for your skills, then you need to have the EA approval letter prior to submitting an EOI
  12. Congratulations! Time to celebrate! Hopefully your right about only claiming the Australian work experience cause that's what I have done.
  13. Hi sominya Go to settings and then on the left select edit signature
  14. Hi valemay24 I see that we are in the same boat, considering my application was lodged on the 21 June too!! Check my timeline. Think I will ring immigration to see if I have a team allocated yet cause my agent has heard nothing yet.. Here's hoping!! Front loaded all my forms and meds too.
  15. Hi Shreya10, Well first of all 3 days after doing our medicals my wife's medical link disappeared but mine stills says "organise" health checks. I believe that once the organise link disappears it means your medicals are cleared, however seeing my medical link hasn't, it means that meds have been referred..... I contacted global health recently and they confirmed that while my wife's has been cleared mine is still waiting to be determined by the moc ie referred. I was expecting mine to be referred cause I had ill health over a year ago. I'm ok now though. Hope global health will clear the back log soon. If not, then it looks like I will have a wait of about 2 months...
  16. Fingers crossed we get nice co then. If not, then I would rather not here from them, until they email me our golden ticket!!! :-)

  19. Hi Freakedass, Thanks for this. I have an agent so all communication will go to them. I am glad that its mandatory for the co to get in touch. Didn't realise this. Thought they would only definitely get in touch if they wanted more docs and the visa outcome etc. Looks like I will have to contact my agent and confirm with them that they still haven't heard anything. 9 weeks on Friday since lodgement!! Grrrrr Cheers and good luck to you too!!
  20. Thanks hemzet for this. I have now got it sorted. Does anyone know if there is anyway of knowing if there has been a co allocated (without having to phone DIAC) to your case? I have read on this forum that sometimes the co does not get in touch until they issue the visa grant. I am hoping there is some way of knowing that a co is allocated by the online evisa system. Just not knowing if one is present is very frustrating!!
  21. Hi Guys, I'm very sorry to hear about the problems that you are having. I too am using ASA or now (Almagamated solutions australia) and we are still in contact on a regular basis. My visa has been lodged and all supporting docs uploaded too. So, even though i paid all my money to them they still have been communicating with me and uploading docs etc for my visa application. I'm just fortunate that I am not experiencing these issues...
  22. Hi Guys! I'm new to this forum! I have been keeping a close eye on these threads for quite some while now and thought i would join up and say hello!! My agent lodged my visa on 21 June (over 8 weeks ago) and still don't have a co!!! All supporting docs have been front loaded including pcc's and medicals. I know that my medical has been referred so it appears its going to be a long wait :arghh: on the other hand, my wife's has been finalised! can someone please tell me how to create my timeline signature plz?? It's such a long process to get to this point as you all will know, but I'm hoping a grant will soon arrive! Good luck to everyone!!
