That's what I read and why I claimed the points but started to doubt my judgement because I read about skills assessment points advice So I thought maybe I had to do that In order to claim the points ..... the worst part is I was part is I could have just put 3 years experience and not worried about it .... The wait goes on then hopefully see a grant soon !!

Hi guys I have a question I've started to worry about my visa application because of the delay ...,.the question regards claiming for work experience points in the EOI . I read that the occupations have to be relevant or closely related which they are Both my occupations are in the same unit group 399. I have over 5 years experience post qualification and have claimed this In my EOI . I have a positive skills assessment for 399213 but my other occupation was 399212 I have claimed for both is this acceptable ?

Thanks mate I haven't been asked I was just curious because I saw that it had been mentioned on here ! I'll wait to see if the case officer asks for it !

Hi just a quick one I have seen people mention the form 80 on here but I have not been asked to upload it by my case officer and I don't know where to find it . I was wondering if anybody knows where to find it and if I have to complete it and also where do you up load it as there is no option in the immi login area ?? Hi leey just had a look at the lists and it looks like you can get state sponsorship for 190 from either Northern Territory or Tasmania ?? Hope that helps check out the skilled occupation lists !!

Yeah 190s are slower I think I won't get the grant till July now .... I'll keep checking every morning though !! Fingers crossed we'll get out there soon

Still nothing this morning !!! Is it only certain states that are still getting grants ??

I keep worrying thinking there's a mistake with the EOI or something .. hopefully it'll come soon but I'm expecting something in July now anything sooner will be a bonus ! Nice to see people are still getting visas granted though !!

I got the delay email after 9 weeks so I guess this was the first contact by CO!

I received it too on the 17/03/14 .... People are still getting grants so fingers crossed but my case officer won't give any idea of how long it may be although they said it's all ready for finalising ! Good luck hope it gets granted soon !

Yeah that sounds about right ! Woke up to an email this morning that was very long but basically said it could be any time up until the end of June and if not after July !! Lol ... So that basically means anytime, So annoying !!

The Migration Programme determines the maximum number of visas that can be granted in each visa category. Applications for this visa are processed in line with Migration Programme planning levels. Hi Sephie There are delays still waiting I lodged my visa on the 11th of Jan !! The not knowing is the worst !!

Basically as we did our Medicals on the 24/01/14 I have to enter aus by the 24/01/15 if I ever get this visa. Basically the CO said that the latest they can leave you hanging and waiting would be 3 months before that date then they would contact you with some sort if plan !!! It's so stressful waiting and not knowing. Kellie you should call your case officer I'm sure if you have a job offer riding on it they could accelerate yours ?? My is team 34 Brisbane ..

I applied for Queensland SS .... I got the dreaded email on the 17/03/14 ... Phoned up twice still waiting and non the wiser !!

Hi kellie I rang my case officer last night but they just say there's a bottle neck and they are prioritising but they don't know when it will be granted... But it is all complete. They grant people who need it sooner like someone who's visa has run out and they need the grant to stay in the country. I suppose mine is a low priority. One part of the conversation I didn't like was that he said if it approaches November I'll definitely have a notification because that's the minimum amount of notice they can give before entering the country so they'll push to grant or they'll have to apply for an extension. Not what I wanted to hear !!! However I think that would be a worst case scenario but it must happen to some people. Hope it comes soon though fingers crossed tonight !!

Just a quick one but how do you guys know when you get a grant ?? I'm still waiting and have heard nothing also !! I thought 190s were supposed to be processed quick too?

Just spoke to my CO on the phone .... Just a case of waiting they have received all my documents that are required !
