I found a decent bottle of craft Aussie ale down in the local BWS a while back..It was called Fig Jam from Burleigh Brewing, at 7.5%..A lovely drop, but at $12 a bottle one was enough..Another rip off..

Ive lived in perth for 2 years and I cant believe how many immigrants are pouring into this farce of a place.. People queing up for rentals, $150 per night for a shite motel, $10 a pint of beer and on and on it goes..Its a real fight of a place and as soon as the resources boom collapses Perth, will be a town full of sky scrapers in the sand, and people will be stuck with huge bank loans, mortgages and houses they cant sell..

I spent 2 years living in Perth..What a joke that place is..an over priced rip off of a place..I hate it there. Endless boring suburbs full of all the nationalities you get in the UK, so no different at all..I really feel sorry for the new migrants who have made a dreadful mistake for falling for all the dream destination bullshit that Perth and WA are definately are not...have finally found my paradise in tasmania..

Steep medical charges which you wouldnt have had if you were still living in the UK, am I right?. I still cannot understand why here in Australia some people have steep medical charges..why?. I mean we all have either Medicare or private health cover which is a rip off..In the UK you wouldnt have any medical charges as the NHS covers that. So why the steep charges here..

Yes true David but you expect it in a 3rd world country where there is very little employment and tax is near zero, but who would have thought it would be the same in a high taxed country like Australia.. Sadly, they don't give a toss - doubt you'd get much joy to be honest. No skin off their nose how long any process takes, they owe you nothing! Sadly this attitude that was stated above you will see alot of here in Australia..Customer service is shite everywhere you go, including DIAC by the looks of it.. Oh by the way if you have forked out thousands of dollars in visa application fees, levies and god know what else..They do owe you something..It wont be too long before people are put off migrating to Australia, because of this and waking up to realise that Australia is the lucky country no more..

Sorry Pail 1 perth...Where did you hear they " dont have the money to index link"?...Who told you that? Dont tell me you believe a single word the Govt says surely?..They spend billions a year on useless wars, asylum seekers etc..but they cant index link peoples pensions who have worked hard all their lives and paid into it.. Im surprised there isnt uproar over this...but we westerners dont complain and Govt know that..thats why they do what they do..

I have found Australians to be a very compliant lot...The majority believe their Government really cares about them and does the best for them, when in reality its completely the opposite..The Govt here is not far from being like the Gestapo..actually. You can even be fined for not crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing.

Its becoming like the Costas..but a bit more pricey, well more than a bit more pricey..
