Also waiting on PCC coming back - does this need to be certified at all? ? ? Thanks

Its so frustrating as just want it done incase it is reffered for some reason. Dont want to wait an extra month ontop of everything. Also that way I can make sure everything is sorted this end before going over. Going to call visa company this week so we can book our medicals for beginning of November. 18. Hi, I was wondering roughly how much money you would need when you move to Oz. This meaning after visa paid for (just waiting on grant) and after flights etc. Just want basic info as hubby will have a job before he goes over. First month or 2 rent - basic bill cost etc. Any help and info would be great. Thanks
  19. That's suppose to say more like ten weeks and not in any rush. Predictive text can be a pain ha ha
  20. Think they say 6-8 weeks for co for 189 but it looks to be more tile ten weeks at the moment. Not I'm any rush tho. Congratulations Jamie its a big weight off your shoulders when skills assessment is successful
  21. Jupiter that's great news, well done. Wenstu fingers crossed for you that you are not kept waiting much longer and that its a positive result. We lodged our application on 12th Sept so same as you Nikkiwd, waiting on case officer etc. We are going to do our medical next month as well as pcc but have frontloaded everything else like form 80s documents certificates etc. That way if they need anything else it should not be too stressful. It's just another waiting game now. Let's hope we all have good news before Christmas and can relax for a little bit.
  22. In regards to pcc- do you have to put speeding fines etc. Hubby has points on his driving licence. Thanks Two weeks down prob about 8 to go. Fingers crossed we all get granted before Christmas and can relax.
  23. Do you have to front load all documents certificates etc before co has been assigned? Or if there is something missing would they ask for it. Our agent is dealing with it but with our skills assessment they forgot to send our payslips off so would not want something like that to happen with the visa. Thanks
  24. Hi guys, I received invitation to apply 2nd Sept and lodged and paid for visa 12th Sept. Not doing medicals and pcc till next month. Good luck everyone will be good to see where everyone is in visa stage. Quick background we got positive skills assessment in august for hubby being a metal machinist and lodged EOI with 70 points. So glad the skills assessment is over as iv was so stressful. We are from Scotland and hoping to move to either Perth or the east coast. Depends on job really. Looking forward to hearing all your stories
