  2. Hi, You can try here. I visited there few weeks ago with a friend. They have good collection. Other car dealers buy from them and then sell it with extra profit. Pickles Auctions 54 Kingsgrove Rd, Belmore NSW 2192 https://www.pickles.com.au/about/branch-location/sydney https://www.google.com.au/search?q=pickle car sydney&oq=pickle+car+sydney&aqs=chrome..69i57j0l5.5759j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&npsic=0&rflfq=1&rlha=0&rllag=-33928426,151049076,4470&tbm=lcl&rldimm=15482767895118287793&ved=0ahUKEwjQ_uK94JnVAhWKjJQKHcvfDH4QvS4ITjAH&rldoc=1&tbs=lrf:!2m1!1e3!3sEAE,lf:1,lf_ui:3#rlfi=hd:;si:15482767895118287793;mv:!1m3!1d114366.73756343004!2d151.14598093898928!3d-33.915936618043766!3m2!1i955!2i829!4f13.1
  3. Welcome to the heaven... Your story reminds me our hardship to get a rental, immediately after arrival. I had to pay 3 months rent in advance+Bond to get a single studio. I got a job within 6 weeks. Just now realised three years have passed Hope to meet you and your family at Central cost on a weekend in future. We live at Sydney North.
  4. So many places still I haven't explored yet.... Thank you so much 'nsp' for your nice post.... I am already a fan of yours Lol
  5. Congrats!! I know how that feels like. Coz we got same email after woke up early morning(four years ago) Your mail made me nostalgic. My wife cried in happiness at that time... We have been living here since last three years and wanna live for ever. Cheers, Best of luck.
  6. Welcome to Sydney.... Best of Luck to you and your family....
  7. Hi, I did my application processing from the scratch by myself. VISA-190/NSW/Computer Network and system Engineer/Skilled State Sponsored Yes it saved lots of bucks. But the most valuable thing was clarity and 100% control on my application progress. I did not need to wait for agent's comment or feedback. But to do that, i read every single rules and requirements from the gov websites. Prepared my documents with no gaps. Here is my Summary: 1) Skill Assessment from Engineers Australia (Took about 3 months) 2) Skill Assessment from ACS (Took 2 months) 3) Applied for NSW state sponsorship (Took 6 months) 4) Finally applied to Immi.gov.au (Took 5 months) Am am not a native English speaker. It was bit challenging for me to read and follow all rules and regulations. But i was able to make it. I am sure you can do that as well... The gov websites are too good and enriched with information. You can also call/email for help. Note: Everybody's case may not be simple like mine. In some situation agent can help better. It depends on the actual scenario cheers, Wish u good luck
  8. Just for fitness purpose. I started workouts at gym recently. Week-1 74.2 kg Week-2 73.2 kg Week-3 72.1 kg Week-4 71.7 kg Last night 71.6 kg Thanks to cross trainer and rowing machine. Had divorce with potato chips. Broke my friendship with icecream Half an hour ago had bowl of peanuts with finely chopped hot red chili, Soy-sauce + White vinegar to overcome the sorrow. While typing this post am looking at the freezer ( where box of icecream is locked )
  9. Sorry to jump in. Neither the title is right nor its wrong. No matter you shared details about you or not... People will ask the same question after saying Hello. And that is " Where are you from ? " So somehow kbhogal answered that in one line ..... And I would say don't get wrong perception abt NewJez's comment. Coz some people may think kbhogal looks for indian or British people only... It's their problem not the problem of the title. Newjez just pointed to that possibility... However, best of luck to all. Let’s together make this forum to contribute building life time friendships among people.
  10. Gr8t. I will share you the details in PM. Could you please advise the convenient place for you. Are you staying closer to CBD?
  11. Hi Aileen KC, Welcome to the forum and in Sydney. We are couple 31years old May be this weekend we will visit CBD. If you are interested we can meet with you for social interaction and to roam around the city.. Cheers,
  12. Thanks mate.. I partially agree with you without any hesitation.... Friends can't be made that easily. But what else options do we have? Some of us are here in working holiday visa or skill migration. We don't have family members here neither any school friends. So sometimes in one hand career ambition captures us and lack of social bond make us feel lonely.... On the train nobody will talk to us, every body is busy with either cellphone or too tried. At workplace , yah it's full of corporate smiles or gestures and sometimes lil chitchat. So only one option left in hand... Open an account in a forum and Say.... "Hi I am looking for friends.. Are you interested ......."
  13. Hi Mate, Cool. We can meet at Sydney CBD/Darling Harbour/ Pitt street or any other convenient place for you. Lets celebrate with unhealthy vanilla Cookies full of calories and hot coffee with three sugars LOL:jiggy: Could you please PM me your preferable time and day Cheers...
  14. Hi All, We are couple (31, 31) living near Epping area and don't have any kid yet. We are living in Sydney since last 02 years and looking for new friends....
  15. Yah it's bit risky..... But which suburb is a heaven ( Except New Castle Legal Disclaimer:As per police Statistics and I dont live here Lol ) We can say Blacktown is more susceptible to crime occurrence but cant put a permanent stamp on it. (My opinion ) http://crimetool.bocsar.nsw.gov.au/bocsar/ Have a look at this map and compare for different types crime rates. Sydney CBD is also not a paradise ;-)
  16. These things will be performed at the last stage of your visa application process ( i.e police check, medical etc) Right now the most important thing for you is to read each words in the skillselect website related to your subclass. It will open your eyes. Then go to state website if you are applying via state nomination. I applied without any agent's help.Because I found all websites are very much detailed with information. Now it's been more than a year am living here with nice aussie peoples Cheers
  17. I found this map bit interesting. http://crimetool.bocsar.nsw.gov.au/bocsar/ The filter on left side allows you select the type of offense/crime and displays the area which reported such incidents. I think it gives an overall idea. As per this map Castel Hill area is the heaven of Sydney and all angles and fairies live there ( Lol... Sorry for the bad joke ) Next time I will rent a house at that area....
  18. Hi Stuart, How are ya mate? Really nice to hear from ya. We live at Revesby area and currently 49.08% settled ;-) Looking for some friends to consider ourselves as fully settled. Need somebody to wish them on their birthdays/anniversaries or wanna get calls from friends at midnight on their emergencies.. Where do you guys live? How can we meet? Could you please leave me a PM at your convenient time....
  19. Hi Nick, Sorry for the late reply. We came here with PR visa. Both of us are telecommunication Engr. We spent the whole last year to arrange bread and butter could not realize actually when it was over. Now its time to wide the social horizon.
