Hey guys and girls, has anyone on here applied for citizenship from cairns or elsewhere in central Qld or FNQ? I'm trying to get an idea of the waiting periods for citizenship ceremonies involved for different locations. TIA

Thanks for the info......Jules2409 how long did you wait to get an interview/test after submitting your application? And how long after submitting your application until u got your citizenship approved? (The grant notification...not the ceremony)

Hi guys, im just wondering if anyone on here has applied for Aussie citizenship within the last year or so? How long did you wait between submitting your application to attending your test/ interview to being granted citizenship? I'll be applying in April 2014 and I am trying to get a rough estimate on how long it's going to take........also are you restricted from travelling overseas during the application process?......can you travel overseas on your PR Visa after you have been granted citizenship but return to attend your ceremony? Any information would be much appreciated...... thanks.
