Thank you, littlegreenman for the info! I got my approval letter today in my mailbox Exactly one week from the test date (4th Apr) and the letter was dated 5th Apr. Waiting begins for the last step in the process!

Hey All, Sharing my citizenship timelines: Application date: 03-Feb-2016 Correspondence Email for a Test Appointment: 09-Feb-2016 Test Date: 04-Apr-2016 (Parramatta NSW) Approval: Waiting Ceremony Date: Waiting for the approval after the test. Any idea how many days/weeks for approval? Though it's not even a week since I gave the test, a bit concerned because they got my address wrong in my test invitation letter (they would have posted it to my PR address in their profile). I got an email so I know the test appointment date. Should I call them and check? Is it too early? Thanks!

That's interesting. Did you apply onshore or offshore? I was told that they will post the hard copy to my house address. That's the reason I was wondering whether I've to forward the results to DIAC or Medibank will do it separately. Thank you

Hi jbb, What's your occupation and points? I can see people who applied on 4th Oct getting CO. You should get one soon. Reg. Medicals - in which country did you do? If everything goes well, your medicals should be finalized in 1-2 weeks max. Regards

Hi, AFAIK, you don't have to send anything back to NSW. It's NSW who invites you to lodge visa application in Skill select. You have to upload the approval letter you received along with the documents list in e-visa. Have you got CO already? If not, you will get this week or next week. Regards

I think CO would decide the date. Usually it's 12 months from you PCC date or Medicals date.

Hi Kev, Unfortunately, DIAC has it's own process to verify employment claims. Skills Assessment is just a requirement for them and they don't reply on that completely. For employment: 1. Detailed reference letter from employer in company letterhead - should include start and end date of employment, full time / part time, number of hours worked, detailed roles & responsibilities 2. Payslips 3. Tax documents 4. Bank Statements Provide as much as possible to prove your claims. DIAC can also initiate external checks for education and employment verification - if they do, it will delay the application. Regards
