  1. It's on its way... just remember that all this waiting seems like ages now, but in 20 or 30 years will seem like nothing.
  2. Sending you a hug Mum of 5. I hope you're not waiting too much longer x In the end it wasn't our CO who sent the grant email, it was a different one. Not sure why.
  3. Congratulations!! We found the flights got way cheaper from the 20th onwards which is why we are flying then. Can't wait to get a bit of summer!!
  4. So a little birdie may have sent an email telling them it was H's 40th and what a nice present it would be, and I'm sure entirely by coincidence it was granted this afternoon!! :xmas24::xmas16: Best birthday present ever!!
  5. Still nothing here and it's my husband's birthday. It would be the best present ever, but we'll just have to wait and see. Congratulations to all the new grants!! We're having a last Christmas here in the UK. For once I hope it snows!
  6. There's also the complicating factor that some COs are over-represented on here and some are under-represented, so we're likely getting only a small picture of what's going on. Our CO seems to only have a couple of others on here, one who applied the same day as us, and we've been told late December/early Jan when we'd previously been told late Nov/early Dec, so who knows. We will be emailing this week to give her our flight dates and ask if there's an update though. It certainly can't hurt!
  7. Congrats to all the new grants!! Shouldn't be long for hubby's grant now, surely?
  8. Ooh, we were 4 days after you. Congratulations!! My husband is 40 next week, it'd be a pretty nice present, wouldn't it? *crossing everything*
  9. As said, it's 8-9 months now. Any particular reason for using an immigration agent? Doing it direct is quite easy and you could save yourself some money (and time).
  10. Ooh, these June grants are really exciting! Hopefully they're trying to get through them all before Christmas. It's 5 months for us on Thursday, and we'll email or call next week.
  11. Really good to hear that they're hoping to get the June ones done before Christmas. This coming Thursday is the 5 month mark for us. Our daughters' Australian passports arrived today, so they can enter the country properly as well
  12. We were last told end of December as well. We're going to email at the 5 month point to tell her our flight dates in the hope that she can grant before then.
  13. We lodged the same day. Who is your CO? Hopefully not much longer to wait!
  14. All these grants for May are really exciting. Congrats guys and hope you enjoy your new lives in Australia. :ssign19:
  15. Woohoo! Hopefully we're only about 6 weeks away then! Good luck with the house, we've been on since February, lost a buyer and are still waiting for another. We're going in January regardless, but financially really need to sell soon.
  16. Hello again (you replied to my thread on LIV forum - initials NG). I'm going to PM you with some info.
  17. We got the big envelope with all our documents back about a month after we sent everything in.
  18. I just had a letter from my employer stating the length of time I worked for them and my annual salary. I didn't include any payslips.
  19. Yes, I think you'd be fine. We have switched to non-paper now. You can always get them from the bank if you need them.
  20. I think if you were going to be rejected, they would be asking for more evidence so that they could try to grant it first.
  21. Married more than 2 years or children together is generally when they go straight to a 100.
  22. We emailed our CO yesterday as we've decided on a flight date. She said she couldn't give any guarantees, but we were now looking at late December/early November, rather than the "sometime between late November and late December" we were originally told, so it looks like it's definitely the 6 month mark rather than the 5 for us. We applied end of June. We're booking flights for January 20th so hopefully it will be granted by then. We'll email again at the end of November with our flight date to see if she can make sure it's granted by then, otherwise it will be an eVisitor and a trip to NZ for the husband Oh, she confirmed he'll get a subclass 100 visa as well, which is good news!
