  1. Last time I checked the Union Jack wasn't on the USA flag ... Futile lol try again!
  2. The problem is bristolman is the doctors are having to deal with a mass influx of immigrants who quite rightly can't take the load being forced upon them. No wonder they are despondent.do any of these migrants get vetted for health checks like they do in oz?TB was eradicated in the UK now it's on the rise there, wonder why?.
  3. It's all down to mass immigration, from all over the world and the weak as piss politicians don't have an answer to stop it. The NHS was never meant to be world health service.
  4. I'm not sure on the legalities of your predicament. But for sure it stinks.like others have said trace his ancestry or have the money or the job that qualifies him good luck. my post earlier was about the absurdity of the system when economic migrants /asylum seekers can just rock up from Europe ,Africa Asia, and get helped out.last time I looked the Aussie flag still had the Union Jack.hope it all works out for you.
  5. If you still have your leg, it's a success
  6. Where does it state it's far higher?maybe per capita, but I would rather trust my daughters chances walking around Brighton South Australia after the bars close or walking the dog over Blackburn/Bradford/ burnley.
  7. Not on my own then with so many million readers.
  8. What brought me here? was to get away from the political correctness in the UK which became stifling plus seeing the country being overrun by asylum seekers, more like economic rapist migrants.from a particular faith what makes me stay for now? the reasons above as I have three daughters and I don't want them to be in a position like what happened in Rotherham, Bristol and cologne, plus a lot more places in the eu and England.I won't apologise for that as they are scary facts. plus I will wait on the referendum of the UK leaving Europe.i really hope they bloody do. Vote leave you know it makes sense.
  9. yep mummy and daddy are still here ( if you still have parents)to fall back on.you have nothing to lose. If worst comes to the worst you will stay even, go for it ,enjoy it ,then remenice of the good memories you are sure to make here.because you certainly won't fondly remember the days behind a desk, like you would the memories of adventure/exploring.
  10. We would be doomed if it is Hillary and corbyn.
  11. What you worried about? we came out with nothing and not knowing anybody in 2008 with a 18 month year old a five year old and 8 year old. No jobs lined up,no extended family ,no friends. Count yourself as lucky to have that if/ when you arrive.go for it :wubclub:
  12. Why?we live in sadelaide and am hoping on moving to the southwest of England next year. Biddeford hopefully I have family there ( what's left of them) maybe we can bat off each other for relocation tips:wink:seriously like jock says Adelaide is a bit stuck at the moment, what with steel plants closing at Whyalla, port Augusta etc plus Holden closing the gates. It's not looking very promising here we have been here over 8 years now and it's slowly getting worse and worse but hey I am only speaking from being here.i still have a job and the sun still shines and the shops are open and you can see a doctor and fill up your car with fuel.
  13. Any spaces for trannies,or grannies? bloody stupid idea:wub:. There's enough obese women around now.what next gopher driven chauffeurs for pick up/ drop off.
  14. I can't tell you, if I did it wouldn't be a hidden gem then would it:laugh:
  15. Adelaide is not so bad. Glad they built the expressway so the traffic can go north to south and visa-versa anytime of the day.living in seaford that was a big issue, progress eh!been here 8yrs now and still going through the motions like you do. But nice update and hope all goes well.
  16. Can you not get the WKD stubbies up their, same taste as iron brew but better its 4.5% alcohol
  17. A candy stick of blackpool rock:laugh: please.
  18. They can be done by Australians unemployed but a lot won't.like alot of Europeans won't clean the streets or toilets or dig a trench or so on and so on
  19. Employers ( not all)have 457 visa holders over a barrel.you can be on the skilled list that doesn't mean unscrupulous employers won't use you to every advantage they have. But I agree its wrong to be undercutting locals wages for the sake of profits by hiring/ sponsoring a 457. But unfortunately its the way of the world and it will be Australia's Achilles heel.
  20. And I fear it won't just be newcomers here. It could be anyone with a distinct accent different to the populace which with being here 8 yrs and having a broad northern English accent I might be ( fair game) as you put it. My kids are alright though they've lost their pommy accent much to my oldest daughters dislike. And to be honest I don't give a #%*^ what people might think of me being here taking their jobs.i just look at it like they ( employer) couldn't find anyone better.
  21. A bit harsh, without 457's no one will pick the fruit or do the cheap manual labour jobs.its all thanks to Whv's and 457's visas that are keeping the economy going because they don't cost the country nothing.more so they add to it.But yes I do agree their could be some resentment in the population wrongly thinking that jobs are being taken in the current climate.
  22. Not good news for anyone , those coming( jobs). those who live here and invested a lot both monetary and mentally. And those who are leaving due to the low Australian dollar exchange rate.like the article says oz never succumbed to the GFC but now with interest rates low and china not buying commodities from oz at the rate they was, and job losses every week in the construction and manufacturing sector their is little room for manoeuvre.
  23. Only words but fingers crossed that it is in remission for a long time to come. Good luck mate in whichever path you choose.
  24. My wife's on p plates and we looked into the change over with dvla and they said you can't. You need a full driving license for either country to be able to transfer. I know it sucks.
