Can anyone recommend moving companies that they have used to move their clothes, pots, pans, plates, beds, bikes etc from Melbourne to Manchester? I have heard of seven seas & crown but wonder who else there is?

We recently sold our house in the UK and wondered if there is any limit on how much money you can transfer from the UK to Australia

We are going to move back to the UK once our 457 visa has expired and wondered if we have to pay tax on any money that we transfer back to the UK that was earned whilst working in Australia is is there any limit on how much money you can transfer back to the UK in one go?

Hi, i seem to be struggling to find holiday insurance as I am on a 457 visa, the insurance companies don't class me as an Australian resident? Has anyone had the same issue or know of a company where this is not an issue? thanks

Make sure you have actually visited the city you intend to live in before making the decision to move there

Hi, From what I have read you don't apply for a uk birth certificate you obtain an Australian one, the uk recognise certain countries birth record systems, therefore a uk is not needed. Melbourne is fantastic do not hesitate to come here, it has seasons and has the feel of European city, plenty of work chippys

I believe you can't increase the rent until the end of your tenancy agreement and there are strict rules as to the amount it can increase by, I think it is 5% maximum

What about Hampton, Brighton or Bentleigh? They are great places to bring up kids, get to the beach and they are very safe

Bayside is great, don't hesitate to move here

I could only find a policy through IMAN, not sure if there are any other providers? We took out the basic policy but make sure it is right for you, don't go just by cost

Easy, start your health insurance for the day you land, but note the health insurance has waiting periods wheremyou cant claim I.e. pregnancy 12months We got our health insurance through IMAN, don't buy a cheap policy
