    Okay so that is the letter to the people who already got 2nd VAC. For now we are still in the dark about if the second VAC will come through soon or not or when. As it stands, most likely it will be a secind VAC request for us "hopefully soon" and as soon as we pay and in line with the NEW news they should grant the visa straight after the payment.

    Althogh it is a good news. It cant come fast enough still. I hope this gets an all clear in a week or two!

    I got an automated response back from PVC Team few mins back but no mention of this in the email. When did you get this email? I really hope the quota isnt finished for this financial year.

    I have sent an email to PCV Team1 asking for an update. I have not heard from them since May 2020.

    It better not be used up. Both my parents need a visa renewal in Feb, Health Examinations, Police Cheks ...$$$

    Can people who applied in May please raise their hands? Don’t know what’s the wait now as everything seems to be in order for a second VAC request.

    You arent alone. I am also waiting for 2nd VAC for my parents. Dont know whats the wait. Have seen people who applied later than us getting 2nd VAC.

    "Probable" the key word. They started asking for second VAC in Nov I think going by postings here. They did not do much since April when the application processing was on hold. Still some hope for people waiting.

    I really hope we dont have to do Medicals and Police Checks again! It is $$ and money and delays the whole thing.

    @Katherin2016 May I ask which country are you in? There is lot of inconsistency in who they are asking for VAC2. Your application is ahead of me and you haven’t been asked. Then there is others who are after me and have been asked for VAC2. Most people have timeline in their signature, you can add it too. From top right Your name > Account Settings > Signature

    International Students are cash cows, if rich they spend lots here and create jobs, if not so rich they work, pay taxes. Ask them how easy it is to get PR here. Win Win for the politicians.

    Yes, we have all been there. Waiting patiently for our turns. I am still waiting to hear for the 2nd VAC. My timeline is very similar and some cases earlier in comparison to those being asked for 2nd VAC at the moment. Your turn isn’t too far away now.

    Yes that’s correct. Technically as an Australian you cant leave the country unless special circumstances apply. But I understand what you are trying to highlight. There is quarantine to think about for someone who comes back as a PR from Singapore though.

    Fantastic new. We have the same date of application acknowledgement date. I am hoping to hear something soon. Would you mind telling the total amount you had to pay for second VAC for both your parents?

    They wont clear the passenger for Immigration. Unless she gets an ETA to NZ they wont let her board the flight.

    I understand! Perhaps Singapore will open up before NZ will. Keep an eye out.
