1. I am from India...and I do not think they consider India as HR...since I have seen so many people here in this forum get their visa grants in less than 25 days after getting CO assigned. Perhaps what might have happened is that when I submitted my application to ACS for skills evaluation I had provided reference letter only from my previous company which is 7.5 years and did not provide any reference letter for my current job since I was just about 3 months old in the company. Now when I submitted my application to DIAC, I completed almost 1 year and my agent said we will need to submit the reference letter from my current company....so that is what I did by having one of my colleague sign the letter for me. So perhpas the DIAC may just be verifying that since ACS did not verify it. Just my thoughts. I could be wrong also....and perhaps they might have verified from my previous company also....I do not know....I mean there is no way one would know that they have verified unless someone comes and tells us....I am in no way against verification but the point I am making here is that they should verify in a way that does not cause any problems to the candidates in their current job that's all.....
2. You mentioned that you got PCC done from 2 countries may I know which is the second country? I have already submitted PCC from India but I am still awaiting PCC from Netherlands, although the Netherlands authorities informed me that they have already processed it and sent it by post, I still have to receive it. The wait is really killing. So that is the only pending thing at my end. Good luck and let us know what happens with your application.
3. Jaso, From what I have seen almost all of the guys who have got a CO in October have been allocated Team 33 from Brisbane apparently it seems they are new unit and may not have the experience like the Adelaide team. Team 33 is going by the book and having almost all the application go for external verification. On 14th Nov the Australian High Commission had emailed my current company to verify if I worked with them or not and the information I have presented is valid or not. I was totally zapped when my HR came and told me that they have received email from the Australian High Commission. The HR did not seem happy about this one bit since I had not told them I had applied and also I had got the reference letter from my colleague. So I hope the HR does not create any problems for me and also to my colleague who signed the reference letter for me. I just do not understand why the DIAC had to forward the entire documents which I had submitted them to my company....they could have either emailed them or asked them on the phone if I worked with them or not and since when I was working...that's it.....sending all the documents.....is unnecessary as it can affect current job. jbb
4. Hi Plutology, Well they replied back stating that they have received my medical reports and it has been finalized for me as well as for my family. I guess I was lucky. Regards, jbb
5. Hi Leslie, Please send an email to health.strategies@immi.gov.au with your TRN, Name, Passport Number and Date Of Birth for you and all your dependents. They will provide you an update on the status of your medicals. They normally reply in 1-2 days. I had sent an email and they had replied in 2 days time. Hope that helps. Regards, jbb

6. On an average looking at the timelines published by other people here I feel that it takes about 15-20 days from the date of submission to get a CO assigned. So you should perhaps get a CO assigned perhaps this week or sometime by next week....I am quite positive. All the best!!
7. Congratulations to you and have a great week end partying!!!:biggrin: Wowwww Arati!!! That was super quick especially when your CO is from team 33. Was any verification done? My CO is also from team 33 having initials AK. But I have to submit Netherlands PCC which is still under process. Can you please share what all documents did your CO ask from you?
8. Hey Kev, Many congratulations!! I am sure now you and your family will be able to sleep much peacefully!! I wish you lots of good wishes and you have a great time in OZ. jbb
9. Congratulations Arati! Can you please share the initials of your CO?
10. Thank you for sharing this information. Good luck with the application and hang in there I am sure you will come back here with good news in 3-4 weeks time. All the best.
11. Guys, It's been a while since I have seen people come here and say that they have been granted a visa especially from people who have been assigned a CO in October. I hope that someone comes and does say that they have been granted a visa from the October CO assigned batch. Cheers, jbb
12. It must be a welcome relief that all the action items from your end are complete and now you just have to try to relax and play the waiting game (the hardest part I guess). But I think you should have the visa granted within in the next 1 or 2 weeks at the max. Good luck!!
13. Indeed that is quick!! All the best. Did the CO ask for any documents to be resent? I guess most of the COs currently being allocated are from team 33. Can you please share the CO initials?
14. Hi naseefoz, I did and you are supposed to provide detailed information about the places where you had visited with the address info as well. If you have stayed for than 12 months or more cumulatively in the last 10 years in any country then you will need to get PCC done from that country as well. I had been to Netherlands, so I have to produce Netherlands PCC, so I am working on that right now. Hope this helps. Cheers, jbb
15. Thank you Jaso!! Congratulations to you too on being assigned a CO. Can you please share which team your CO belongs to and his initials? All the best!
16. I have sent you a private message. Please reply to it. Did you email your application or send it by courier/post?
17. Hello vandm, Did your sister-in-law get the PCC issued from the Netherlands? Please update us on the status. I have been assigned a CO and have to start the application process for getting the Netherlands PCC. So any guidance or inputs are more than welcome here. Thanks. jbb
18. I guess this would be a very special moment of your lives!! Many congratulations to you and your family!!! Have a blast this weekend
19. Hi Naseef, Well the CO has asked for Form 80 for me and my wife. This is the only new document he has asked. Rest of the documents I had already uploaded but the CO is still asking to send them again like Passport Copies of my wife and kids, birth certificates of my kids, marriage certificate, PCC. I guess you can relax for the moment and expect to have a CO assigned in about 15-20 days. that is the average time i have observed it takes for a CO to be assigned. Good luck!!
20. Hello d4ddyc00l, Good luck with your application. I guess looking at the trends you should get a CO assigned in about 2 weeks time. That's the average time I have observed it takes for a CO to be assigned. I had uploaded all the documents but still the CO has asked for some of the documents again.:arghh:
21. Thanks N7kkp for your support!
22. Hi Arati, You can track your eVisa status from this link https://www.ecom.immi.gov.au/elp/app?login jbb
