  1. We had a 489 sponsorship for WA and before we lodged our visa we tot 5 extra points for partner skills. We asked WA if they could change our 489 to 190 sponsorship. They didn't. We had to apply for a new sponsorship and wait like anyone else.
  2. Yes you can, however I believe you need to validate your visa one year after your pcc or medicals. Whichever you did first. What files you need depends on your country. Do some research about "character requirements" on immi.gov.au
  3. Do you have to upload form 80 for the main applicant only or also for the partner? (when the CO asks for it)
  4. I don't expect any response in the next two weeks to be honest (lodged 12th of september). Especially since the August lodging gang has a lot of people without news.
  5. Our ehealth uploaded medicals weren't shown either, for the 489 visa we got granted last month. I am a bit surprised about the CO delay though.
  6. Add 0061 in front. I believe this would do it: +61 1300 364 613
  7. I printed booklet 6, the page explaining character assessment to the local authoeity and said I needed te PCC for emigration. Tht was enough for them
  8. Don't worry too much, that thread existed when we lodged our first visa.
  9. There is a difference between the CO asking for meds or a aupport officer who sends you the health ids in advance. You probably got the second one. Time to make an appointment kimsdu
  10. Dibongo, why did you say that the processing times is between 3 and 6 months. Are you from a high risk country? Because the processing time is indeed 6 months max. But I never heard of the lower threahold of 3 months. For our 489 visa there was also a guideline of 6 months, but it only took a day.
  11. If you get the health ids, then go and make an appointment with a panel doctor. No need to wait for the CO.
  12. We just got the message that our application is valid. Last time it took 3 weeks before we got that message. 3 days later we had our co and visa though. Walkwater: we got the health ids eith the message I described above. If you have these ids you can do your medicals. Before you get your co. Previous time we contacted DIAC for our health ids though.
  13. What happens? You login to skillselect. Press the 'apply now' button. Then you get a popup and then?

  15. One and a half month ago we did our medicals for a 4 year provisional regional visa (489, p reviously 475 I believe) which is now granted. We are now applying for a PR visa (190, previous 176). Can we reuse these medicals? We did an xray, blood, weight the first time already.
  16. Nataraj; Weird, we got the message right after payment.
  17. Hello WA mates haha! We lodged our app on Sep 11 we already got our 489 lightning fast. Within four weeks a co and from co to visa grant just 1.5 hours! Hope it will go this way again.

    WA SS any news?

Walkwater: indeed. When searching for jobs, we saw a lot in Perth, but very limited options around Mandurah. But maybe we are going to live there anyway. If ee have a job and good internet connection it is fine Plutology: 3d of August.
