hi mate were hopefully moving to mandurah well just outside place called falcon, to look for property we go on a website called realestaste.com and click on rent then type in mandurah and surrounding area and you have a guide of properties to rent and for work I look on mandurah mail website or on the west Australian news paper site and click on jobs and there have loads come up on there put it this way don't think your have problem looking for work if you have a trade, were moving there cos im a bricky and that's were the work is just wondering if there be work on the mines for you that's big dollars hopefully ive helped ya out

hi mate ive just completed my own visa app and seriously theres nothing to it, we were going to use an agent but after speaking on the phone for half an hour to one they basically told me what to anyway so happy days saved some serious money, I would advise to give yourself a few months and try not to do it all at once because it does take time but worth doing for sure good luck if you need to ask me any questions ill be willing to help

its hard to find jobs from here and to get sponsored i know the western australian govenment advertise jobs on there website so try new south wales site or try and get newpapers online its much easier to be there and show willing i went on holiday visa then got sponsored when i was there cos went out and found someone its a gamble but if theres jobs in what you do then you have more chance good luck

but i think defo try for working holiday visa then you can look over there for a job that you do then there probably sponsor you so you wouldnt have to come back after a year, you can always email immigration on immi.gov.au and ask if 30 is ok let me know how you get on

hi i think you can go on working holiday visa im sure my friends girlfriend was 30 and she got one if your 30 you ok its when you hit 31, if you go on the state govenment site new south wales they should have a list of jobs in demand for that state which will give you all the information of who will assess you, ive done all my visa applications myself ive been to oz twice on 457 visa its not hard you just need to make sure you send everything you need in in one go but generally they ask you for more information if its missing, your save 3000 grand straight away, honestly its not hard plus ive done it all in 4 months, all my tests i.e ielts and my vatessess skills assessment im just waiting for results of my skills which i know ive passed then im applying for statesponsor its the quickest way to be a resident any questions please dont hesitate to ask but you must think of doing it your self its easy

ahh thanks everso much yes its a bit nervy as i really want to get to oz as soon as possible i have my skills test sorted its just this ielts but hey got a practise book so practise i will thanks guys for your help :biggrin:

ahh thanks ive just sent off for the cambridge ielts practise tests with audio cd im just worried in genral really as im not very academically minded as my hands are my brains haha but thanks for advice im going to practise like mad now cant be here in england to long winter is coming ...........

hi my name is ross im an english bricklayer i am booked in to do the general ielts test on the 22nd of october can any one shed some light on how hard or easy the general test is i need to get 7 in all the sections seems strange really with a surname smith that i have to do an english test haha

go to whatever state govenment website you want to be sponsored by and apply there but you need skills assessment first but you can always have a look mate good luck

alright mate yeah all trades have to do a skills test through vetassess ive just sent mine in on line and it took me ages i had to answer questiions on my trade which is bricklaying and send in wage slips my city and guilds pictures of my work and references the more you get in the better but i suggest you start asap as it takes a while to complete and every state wants to see you,ve had a skills test so good luck ill let you know how i got on mate
